if you take a look from 3.40 you can clearly see from the zoom in on the 909 its power cable on the bottom right - and the 2 phono outs from the drum machine on the left - at the end of the video even the decks and mixer have no led lights - so are u saying its all fackery trickery, i doubt that. the 909 has real dull leds, plus vid qaulity is not the best.

@purposemaker909: Sorry, I took another look at 3:40 and that power socket still looks very empty to me! It takes a chunky 3-core 'kettle' lead, which should be visible even at this resolution.

And although the 909's function buttons had opaque caps, the LEDs set into the 16 drum buttons ought to be visible.

iv e used my 909 for 10 years live now. it always sounds much better out than studio use. jeffs the only other person ive seen who uses it the same way (ritchie used to) fuck patterns. make that one go and erase and re-write. be a man and work your instrument. big props to jeff for keeping shit propper.

every 909 sounds different and there are also possibilities to mod them.

Can't remember off the top of my head but it is played on his Exhibitionist mix cd before the DJ Rush track. So it'll be either one or two tunes before the DJ rush one. It sounds like either an Oliver Ho or a Samuel L Session tune tho. Should be easy to check on Juno or something. Hope this helps.
