I have had 8 thunder bolts since the day it came out. Worst piece of crap I have ever had 4 hours of battery life and the sensor that turns off the screen when you make a call lasts a month before it goes bad

Had both and rooted with the best roms you can have. If I wanted a Iphone I would get an iphone.... instead of weak ass touch wiz. HTC FTW.

I have both these Devices. While the super amoled screen is nice, I don't like how cheap samsung phones feel, and HTC sense is much better than touchwiz. The Charge battery is better, but any avid user should carry a charger around. Thunderbolt is better by far.

charge Has better screen and battery life and also has better gpu for gaming. Lagfix get the quadrant score to about 1600-1900 on charge also.

nothing compares to the super amoled plus display absolutely beautiful so vibrant i never hav my brightness all the way up only half way and still very vibrant

htc is a step behing samsung the 8mp cameras and displays from htc are ok. the cameras and screens from samsung are amazing. and samsung phones are much faster. only thing htc wins is the os. htc os is a bit better than touch wiz. but the droid charge edges out the thinderbolt and many other droids

Samsung makes a pretty nice looking phone; however, the problem is Samsung phones have a very bad history when it comes to recieving updates and/or patches. For example, when the latest OS (Android 2.3) was released most Samsung phones did not get the update and are still waiting for the update. HTC seems to get it out to their phones in a reasonable time.

WHY IS EVERYONE TB LOVERS CHARGE IS WAAAY BETTER AS LONG AS U CAN AFFORD EITHER MIGHT AS WELL GET THE CHARGE AND TOUCH WHIZ IS MUCH BETTER ON THIS PHONE :)

@keshealm The Samsung Charges screen clarity and crispness far out shines the HTC. And it adjusts to the light in the room. The features are more easily accesible on the charge and ease of use is top notch. Go to a store & look at both screens on -you'll see what I mean

@keshealm I made my original comment before I owned one- Now that I finally have my chrage i LOVE IT- it's not a battery hog, Its super easy to use. The camera and camcorder are great! Check out my first video I uploaded taken with my new Droid Charge- called EMO the droopy tree. on my page. this is my first smartphone. The screen changes color automatically. You can tweak just about everything. The only downside is the ringtone volume- I have it on max and can't hear it in my purse.

@1111rhn ok i will. I have the droid charge and I'm not that impressed but i did do a test with it vs the Thunderbolt and as far as media part is concerned charge was way quicker so i might stick with the charge.

Ive gotta say the charge is abit slower on launch because it is launching all the apps into landscape mode which would be a bit slower.

@Arlind86 You ssound silly man the droid charge is only 50 dollars more. The thunderbolt beats the droid charge in every area except for the screen display. Get outta here. The only phone Samsung made i would consider gettin is Galaxy S 2 but Verizon wont be getting so oh well. HTC is far superior than samsung.

bTW Don't be mad cause you got a thunderbolt and couldn't afford a charge. Thunderbolt is a nice phone, but if compared with the charge it's not up to the par. That screen you are talking about, saves 40%+ battery life and also is way faster than the HTC.Better cam, better graphics more stabled better charge

This guy def. made a lot of mistakes with this and atleast he could have went back and put up annotations to fix what he said. One problem was the Droid did have a commercial on the first youtube video and the thunderbolt had it on the last so both did have a commercial. Secondly videos that have commercials should not count toward which loads up the video faster. Good try...
