ferrari must be trying to jump on the green bandwagon a bit late. its getting closer to winter, which means gas should continue to drop, and potentially in america hit $2.50! cars dont even damage the enviroment much, and thats why ferrari apparently didnt want to because 450 bhp from 4.3 liters isnt green. same thing with prius, toyota makes it ugly and comproises your pride to give it a big name with its big 30k price (before 5k battery replace), while giving mother nature the finger.
the hard top veyron production run has ended. Bugatti is going to make the Gransport now. Its the same scnario as the SLR Mclaren. Next there will be the higher performance GT. Then after that they will develop a New Model. I think they ended the production two weeks ago. Total of 300 cars were made.
People dont realise that the Veyron was never concieved to make a profit, It was a marketing device to raise the company image, and help sell more of the lower end Audi/VW cars that are mass-produced. In reality each veyron cost way more to build than the selling price. The bitter truth of it all is that even mass produced cars dont make a proffit, car makers sell you the car at break-even or less and make their money from interest on the finance/loan that allows you to take 3 years to pay.
Exactly, it was just VW way of saying to everyone, "we can make an amazing car that is the fastest out there". Too bad cars like this wont be made for a bit now.

I also think the imports from Canis Anus III are highly over-rated and consideration to the fact that we don't have a third eye or a 4 ft. ling neck. It makes parking a real adventure.

ferrari must be trying to jump on the green bandwagon a bit late. its getting closer to winter, which means gas should continue to drop, and potentially in america hit $2.50! cars dont even damage the enviroment much, and thats why ferrari apparently didnt want to because 450 bhp from 4.3 liters isnt green. same thing with prius, toyota makes it ugly and comproises your pride to give it a big name with its big 30k price (before 5k battery replace), while giving mother nature the finger.

the hard top veyron production run has ended. Bugatti is going to make the Gransport now. Its the same scnario as the SLR Mclaren. Next there will be the higher performance GT. Then after that they will develop a New Model. I think they ended the production two weeks ago. Total of 300 cars were made.

People dont realise that the Veyron was never concieved to make a profit, It was a marketing device to raise the company image, and help sell more of the lower end Audi/VW cars that are mass-produced. In reality each veyron cost way more to build than the selling price. The bitter truth of it all is that even mass produced cars dont make a proffit, car makers sell you the car at break-even or less and make their money from interest on the finance/loan that allows you to take 3 years to pay.
