I went there today....we saw nothing besides a giant mountain lion that almost attacked us but we shot at it and scared it off....just take protection when you go at night....I wish me met that guy tuttle or whatever.

I was up there today, nothing weird at all, just a guy taking pictures and another old guy coming back from mountain biking the trail. When I asked the guy if he has ever seen anything weird, or heard any of the rumors he responded "it's all bullshit", and he's been "riding the trail for years". So me and my buddy decided to hike up the trail we saw nothing weird at all. I don't even see where people could even live in that place it's too much of a rural area besides the RVs before you enter.

The stories for blackstar canyon is a myth. There are no KKK's. There are however a person who lives in blackstar canyon that goes by the name "art tuttle" he lives there and tries to bully people to leave by saying its private property when its actually a public road. Its the area where Native Americans were massacred by the spainards so youll see burnt down houses and etc. "Art tuttle" drives a white truck F150 with fog lights so he'll do whatever to make you leave. Its a waste of time and gas

when you are on the trail you can see lights of cars on santiago cyn road they are just driving not stalking these fools... i have been to this place a bunch of times and its not haunted or anything to my knowledge... there are two people who live down there who fuck with people every once in a while because they dont like people there and some skinheads who try to scare people with guns sometimes but no ghosts

Th KKK meetings havent happened for about 2 years now, I think they moved locations. I went out there back in mid 2005 and saw the whole damn thing. it was out of this world. There where anywhere from 200-400 members there all chanting around these three bomb fires the size of cars. you actually have to hike for about an hour before you can find them. and these meeting dont start till after 2am. Other than that there were;nt any ghost we heard about or weird noises, but KKK.. forsure is there.

Blackstar Canyon Road is a County of Orange maintained road. The County has a gate across the road however it is open for foot and bicycle traffic.

There have been incidences of local residents blocking public use or intimidating visitors so I recommend you contact the County Public works Department for more information.

I would not recommend a night hike in the area as there have been some problems - you might contact the OC Sheriffs Department for info on the area.

scorpio...sorry those arent myths...we been warned by local indians in the area that killings have had taken place in the area...and there are things that follow you in the night...we were out there with a team of paranormal investigators...and due to the hostility level that we warned about we had people armed with us till we finished conducting our research...but i dont recommend anyone to go out there by themselves at night or day...

I was scared to until i found out that black star canyon is a public trail for anyone to walk, hike, or bike through and that property owners near the canyon post up signs saying no traspassing, private roas etc. just to keep people out. Do a search and there a website that walks you through blackstar so you dont get lost while biking.

Another thing is at black star theres this really really thick gate( i went there and your lucky if a big diesel dodge ram can get through the gate)thats sometimes open and if you go in they lock it up so you cant get out.
