  • our M2 Peaches was severely plucked. she is a rescue bird and yes we had a DNA confirmation test on her too. Sticky Yuck helps some. but constant love, kind words and freedom OUTSIDE of the cage works the best. this is only in my humble opinion. FT

  • I am currently looking for Fred who is a cockatoo that was not taken well of. My family adopted him for a short while, but due to our inexperience we had to give him back. Fred responds to two tricks that I know of. One is if he is on your finger, point your other at him and say BANG and he will fall over. The other is say boogie boogie and bounce up and down a bit and he will mimic you.

  • I would take him in a heartbeat if I could! He is so loveworthy.

  • Afraid of humans, sad but with love and time he will be a happier and more trusting bird.

I would take him on in a heartbeat....my secret weapons are a long feather and a hairdryer! Just stroke them with the feather and gently blow dry them. They fall in love with you.

This takes time and I've proven that it works with a 25yr old WILD caught mollucan. I can't hold him but he will let me touch him with my hand!

  • it breaks my heart to see these magnificent creatures plucked. We have 10 parrots, 2 of which are M2's and they are the best! I hope he finds a forever home with people to love him and understand that they can be high maintenance but so worth it!
