I DROVE THIS VERY HIGHWAY WITH MY COUNTACH 25th ANNIVERSARY ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. 198MPH AND THE ROAD FELT LIKE SILK. SOLID. GREAT WORK THE GERMANS DID ON THE AUTOBAHN. PERHAPS ONE OF THE BEST PUBLIC ROADS IN THE WORLD. I FELT LIKE A HIGHWAY STAR.

@deloreanman14 I believe the autobahn is constructed with concrete not with ashpalt like we have here in both US and Canada. You guys in the US can still speed more than up here in Canada, now the police have their radar traps at highway off-ramps. Sad. I need to traved to Germany one day.

kudos for hitting that speed on a wet road.! it must be nice to have the freedom to hit the pedal like that. the highest i got was 120mph only to catch up with my friend, who was hitting 130. haha

@parkjeunhyuk haha me and my friend did 135 in his a4 that just had a chip with 3 people in his car.now his new 1.8t that only has a bov and divertervalve cant go faster than 120 with 3 people.but we have done 120mph in his dads allroad with 3 people.and 120 in his sisters merc ml430

I just got my S5 in May and took it on a European road trip in June that included the autobahns of Germany. I will miss those roads, especially when we move back to the States.  Driving the S5 on our interstates won't be near as fun because of the speed limits. Love the video BTW, good stuff.

The video is posted by a friend of mine. However it's my car. I will try to answer you questions:

1-Consumption at 130-140 is about 1 liter petrol to 8 km's

2-Consumption in city is about 1 liter petrol to 5 km's

3-I think that 98 is always better. I'm using V-Power

4-I like quattro very much. Always super grip. Don't have experience with x-drive.

5-The car is very comfortable. It's a bit harder now that is has 20" RS4 wheels but still comfortable enough.

NO he's not. Autobahn was made for cars to go as fast as they want.

only a very limited number of cars able to drive 250 mph: veyron, koenigsegg, etc.

btw. autobahn is not designed to drive as fast as they "can", but as fast as the conditions allow them to drive responsively.... and no conditions asks for allmost 400 km/h... unfortunately
