Um that's not even an actual ballet bun.... it kinda gets me mad when people make buns like this and say its a ballerina bun... it's not. If you actually do ballet, you would know the bun never sits on top of your head, and it's very tight and neat..

I go to ballet classes for 9 years now, and trust me I know how nice and in order the ballerina bun has to be. This is just a random top bun, and it is not even that easy to make it.

Clearly you've never seen a true ballerina bun before. The way to find the place for a ballerina bun is to imagine a line from the cheekbone to the upper end of the ear and then elongate it to the back of the head

@QUIQUIPARIS Its actually easier, if you wet your hair down, brush it out, flip you head over and secure with an elastic wrap it around your finger then twist around the base of the bun and secure with bobby pin.

Its how I do it.. and my hair always stays.
