Had my tubes tied in 2007 through laparoscopy. Thinking nothing else major could happen. 2008 till now cysts balding, pain daily I was diagnosed with PCOS and Adenomyosis a few weeks ago. I am also high risk for cancer because my mom died at 51 from breast cancer and brain cancer she had 10 brain tumors, and bone cancer as well. I just got my BRCA gene Test done just waiting for the results .I have to see an endocrinologist in a few days I am now 29 years old.
Wonderful informative video. Sending to all my friends and family. This test is so necessary as my Ovarian Cancer had no symptoms until I was Stage IV. I am trying to get approved for this test and I HAVE the disease. I need to have this done for me- Breast cancer -but most importantly my family. Insurance companies do not want to pay- what else is new?
Thank you for finding the grace and courage to use your terrible loss to help others. A close friend recently lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer and the legacy we all hope to share is that information and awareness are the only power we all have in avoiding more tragic losses like these. Wishing you peace and strength.
This video was viewed by hundreds of advocates at the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance conference. There was not a dry eye in the house. More importantly, many committed to help spread the word about this story and help other families. Please help us get more views. Annette Mattern.
Thank you for sharing. My grandmother and mother both died of ovarian cancer. My twin sister and I just tested positive for the braca1 gene mutation. We both just finished our mastectomies and had hysterectomies before we were tested. Dr. Janicek is wonderful and we believe his knowledge and encouragement to get tested has saved our lives. Thanks for confirming our decision.

Great job. It's a very selfless act to turn grief into awareness for others. I would expect nothing less from the Casey family.
