  • I have water warfare, but online is dead.

  • i think water warefare is more fun not? and it is even cheaper!

  • this game is incredavel

  • Online is dead it seems :(

  • this is 42 mb, but some games of 4 gb or plus are worst

  • can you play online?

  • That's why I'm still a kid! :(

  • @monkeypwned have your Oxyclean sponge kiddo

  • dumb question i know, but inputing my file name wont work some one help. (i dont know the accept name button

  • I forget what it is but if the operations guide (Push HOME) doesn't bring it up then just try the usual like start/+ or look on the keyset itself to see if there's an "enter" key.

  • you wipe the blood off by just shaking the nunchuck.

you reload shaking the wii controler.

so when you said in the video when you try to wipe the blood off you reload first it is because you are shaking both.

  • So you just ignored the annotation? And the 50 or so comments about this? Good to know.

  • i hated this game at first but after a while i got use to it. Use the shotgun on the flying bugs, the wide spread makes it much easier to kill them

  • shake wiimore to reload ? wtf ?

so every time you need to reload you have to loose your aim ?

    meh

  • It's why I hate the Wii's controls so damned much, because most games have this shit. Whereas I've never once had to shake a Mouse to reload.

  • @DEIVION212 i Imagen myself trying to reload/refresh the computer by shaking the mouse

    LMAO=]

  • @DEIVION212 It's an issue I have with shooter wii games as well. It's like the people who map the controllers were like "Hmmm well I guess that will have to do" Instead of actually putting in the time and map the controller to the best of their ability.

  • Yup, at least Conduit and MWR had almost 100% custom controls, so you could put them how you wanted them.

  • @DEIVION212 Yeah, I really wish that FPS's on the HD consoles had that much customization. I would love it if I could 90% customize the button layout, like in The Conduit.

  • @Arxidianomeas @Arxidianomeas so as a real life you don't move your gun to reload? just curious... if it's realistic, you might lose your aim to reload. like pistol and rifle you probably don't but some weapons like rocket and heavy machine guns you have to lose your aim to reload in real life.

  • @sdutango Yeah, but in real life, aiming a gun does not control where you look :)

  • @gamingrocks100 In my experience, all console fanbases are bad, but the Wii's is, by far, the worst. Most of them are really insecure and ignorant. It seems like most Wii fanboys are either illiterate 10-year-olds who are jealous because their parents didn't buy them PS3's or 360's. Only about half of them can be a constructive argument, and they'll automatically assume that you're a fanboy if you say something bad about a game (even if you still say that it's a great game). SMG2, for instance.

  • @catholicgamer99 Back when I was only 14, I was pretty much like that. I was a diehard Wii fanboy, myself, and I regret it today. I was jealous over the HD consoles because of their price tags, and their huge quantities of M-rated games (which I wasn't allowed to play at the time, shocking, I know), so I always tried to pretend that 99% of PS360 games were crap, despite knowing inside that most Wii games are low-budget mini-game collections, and Nintendo hasn't really tried much new at all.

  • @catholicgamer99 Now that I have a PS3, I can actually provide reasonable arguments to explain why I highly prefer it over the Wii. Whereas when I was a Wii fanboy, I said that it was best simply because it had the best sales, and had motion control.

I also acted hypocritical, as I constantly emphasized how graphics and online play don't matter, but then raved about any Wii game that had impressive graphics or online play (or for the console's standards, anyway).

  • @catholicgamer99 I own a Wii and own a 360 and I played my friends Ps3 I love the Wii more. I think it because your young and it something new to you. Im 22 and I never had parents telling what I can't play. It not that matter because bloody games were not my interest and I did own God of War 1-2 but sell them because lack of replay value. You need to get a Nintendo Entertainment System and you will see Graphics don't matter. I don't about online because it full of kids cursing.

  • @Jesse12489 Have you read the other 2 comments I posted about this? I used to be a diehard Wii fanboy. I got sick of it because most of the 3rd-party games didn't interest me. I'm not a graphics fanboy, and I could've forgived the Wii's poor online play if it had more good games.

I still fail to see why many Wii fans cite "kids cursing" as a huge complaint.

    1) You can just mute the other players.

    2) The Wii fans NEVER make these complaints towards Monster Hunter Tri or Black Ops Wii.

  • @catholicgamer99 As for God of War...well, it looks like a boring cinematic button-masher. I have very little interest in that game, or MadWorld for that matter. At least Muramasa looks decent, because of the RPG elements.

  • I don't really buy 3rd party Wii games. I mostly own 1st and 2nd party. Yes Wii lacks online because not many people give a hoot. I not truly complaining about cursing but before I got a 360 I heard stories about it and when I played xboxlive for the first time it was all true. They are sore losers. I buy anything that's Nintendo printed on it. It saves me the disapointment of a bad game. I rarely find a bad Nintendo game.

  • @Jesse12489 Agreed, Nintendo's games put most of the 3rd-party Wii games to shame. The ONLY bad Nintendo games that I can think of are Wii Play, Wii Music, and Mario Party 8.

The Galaxy games are good, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is awesome, the Metroid Prime Trilogy is great, and I am a HUGE Smash Bros. fan.

I feel the same toward Sony's recent 1st-party games. I was incredibly disappointed with MGS4, Heavy Rain, and KZ2, but I love the Uncharted & Infamous series', and I like MNR, LBP, and KZ3.

  • Metal Gear Solid 4 is a great Disapointment! It does not have that Metal Gear feel. Final Fantasy has change too. Im afraid Zelda might change because the next Zelda is going to be the first Zelda to have Link as a right handed person but that shouldn't make me hate the game but it ruins the traditional left hand Link. Twilight Princess was made for the NGC and it was put on the Wii in the last minute so the World is "mirrored" This new Zelda is made by the ground up for the Wii.

  • @Jesse12489 Yeah, I keep telling people that I'm worried about the new Zelda because of the fact that it's being made for the ground-up for MotionPlus (and Nintendo has made it clear in their interviews & stuff that MotionPlus would the game's main focus), making it too different from previous Zelda games, and that Twlight Princess's flaws might be even more problematic in Skyward Sword. They keep telling me stuff like, "What's wrong with that? TP was the best!"

  • @catholicgamer99 Your the first person to agree with me. Zelda has change ever the years and they have done things different each time. The first was classic the 3rd focus on Light/Dark world switch and Ocarina focus on Past and Future and Majora focus on a 3 day limit and Wind Waker worked on Wind and Ocean then Tp seem to work more on the Wolf.

  • Apologies for butting into the convo but I've said for years that Mario Kart and Zelda to be the only 2 game franchises in the world where every game is different from the last.

Which is why I've hated as many MK's as I've loved and same goes for Zelda. With both series' you've got to like the gimmicks that each on has, so I hated Sailing but loved Season changing. I hated 2 characters to a Kart but loved the coin collecting to increase speed.

    Anyway, I'll leave now...

  • @DEIVION212 Completely agree.

  • @catholicgamer99 And Mario Part 8 is okay but it focus on a straight forward Board. I see what they were trying to do and it works but not to many people like that. Super Mario Galaxy 2 I love the gameplay but truly I knew what they were aiming. It lacks story but gameplay and challenge and fun is there but sadly I really was upset because it needs a story. it doesn't feel like a sequel. It wasn't Intended to be sequel. It was going to be a game with levels that never made it to the first.

  • @Jesse12489 I don't really care about the story in Mario games. I was a bit dissapointed, however, (like you previously said), they didn't bother to fix the flaws of the first one; it's the same game with different levels. I loved the first one when it first came out, because it was innovative at the time; the second one came out 2 1/2 years later, and was just more of the same.

  • @Jesse12489 I'm not obsessed with bloody games. In fact, I actually prefer games that are less bloody. I tend to stray away from M-rated games, and stick more with games rated between E & T. So I doubt it's because of my age group.

I played Super Mario Bros. 3 when I was only 5 years old, and it still remains one of my favorite games of all time. Just saying...

  • @catholicgamer99 "I played my friends Ps3"

I used to say the same exact thing, back when I was a Wii fanboy.

As for the 360...well, I've never owned one, but the 360 & PS3's game libraries appear to be about 90% identical, so I'm assuming that both consoles are about equally good.

  • Most kids or teens love the PS3 or 360 because they say Better games and that's just opinion not facts. If you don't like the game then don't buy them. I never got a PS3 because there no fun looking games and still there no fun looking games.Nintendo has great games out on the Wii and it sad that no one mention them. Like Metroid Prime 3. It the best FPS on the Wii. Or Fire Emblem and Mario Galaxy. To me I can play them again and it never gets boring. That's what im looking for in a game.

  • @Arxidianomeas Well, in real life you can't really do anything while reloading...

  • No, this is not a great game. This is a good game that was implemented well by the designers. Yes the game is defiantly worth $10. The online multiplier is the reason to own this game.

  • If you're replying to me then I'll be honest, I was kinda being kind about this, IMO it's as bad as Halo with it's boring run and gun gameplay and I've not played it since doing the vid.

  • 1:00

whats more annoying than symphony of the night?

    what are you saying?

And symphony of the night kicked ass.

  • Bout it played it for a week and now it just sits there.

  • Are you guys serious, about the dual analog thing? Everyone should know by now how inferior analog sticks are. If you wanna play that way you can always play your Xbox. I was so excited to get a new way to enjoy FPS games. I know now they have the wii aim controls decent, but they still dont quite have the accuracy and response of the good old mouse and keyboard. I hope gamers start boycotting Xbox and Sony until they quit making FPS's and sports games. Tell those 1D losers to design somethinnew

  • @astrohed Hey genius "Xbox" doesn't make anything and 99% of shooters aren't made by Sony. Is this the intelligence level of Wii fanboys?

  • Believe it or not (And you should as I deal with a lot of Wii fanboys, what with me doing Wii reviews and what with the fact that I hate the Wii. Yeah, I hate it, and I'm open about hating it too) this guy is almost the Stephen Hawking of Wii Fanboys.

Because some are just so fucking dumb it's shocking, and a lot contradict and destroy there own arguments before anyone even replies.

  • @DEIVION212 I know exactly what you mean, bud, because I used to be one.

First, I claimed that graphics & online play didn't matter, but then, when Wii games started coming out that had amazing graphics & online (for Wii standards), I went nuts.

I remember, when ashmore commented on your SMG2 review, he first said, "this game is not easier", but then claimed that Nintendo was trying to make it accessible to people who aren't experienced with games. He pretty much killed his own argument. xD

  • Yup, a lot of fanboys do, it makes it easy to prove them wrong XD

  • @NOHHissue dude thats insulting, its the intellegenca of a douche, dumbass. -.-

  • Again though, it's not just 1, I see way more than 1 on a daily basis. I've blocked a good 200 Wii arsehole fanboys in the last 6 months alone.

  • @DEIVION212 Hahaha, Ooooh no wonder, your the creator of the video, Thanks by the way, love the game. but i cant get past freaking level 2. there always passing that godamn imaginary line. Help =)

  • @DEIVION212 @DEIVION212 Hahaha, Ooooh no wonder, your the creator of the video, Thanks by the way, love the game. but i cant get past freaking level 2. there always passing that godamn imaginary line. Help =) But 1 question, i wasnt talking to you, i was talking to @astrohed And why Again, Ive never spoken to you,

  • It's because your comment went below mine, I really do hate how youtube organises comments, it's impossible to tell sometimes.

So my apologies for that :)

  • @DEIVION212 No worrys ! by the way, since were chating, con you tell me what if your favorite WiiWare. The one you really RECOMEND !

  • Apologies for th elate reply, youtube didn't tell me you'd sent another message.

As for really recomending games, I've done a top 10 that might be worth a look :)

  • @DEIVION212 Hhahah dont worry, no wonder, i was like. THIS ASSHOLE xD Thanks by the way

  • You don't shake the wii remote when you wipe the blood off. you just shake the nunchuck. thats why it kept reloading. The that's why yoour still a kid thing is very annoying. VERY.

  • so tell me is this game good online? i was thinking about getting it just for the online but i dunno if this will be a good one to get.

  • @cyborg584 No, the online community is dead. It is great for just 10 bucks though.

  • this is by far the best wii ware game.

  • please if you have this game... start connecting now

  • I downloaded this game this morning. It is really good. Can u change the camera settings or not? - Tom

  • Specify camera settings.

Do you mean can you go into 3rd person? Or can you change the aim dead box and other stuff like on Conduit and COD?

  • @DEIVION212 Nah. Just like if you can actually see the player or something like that. The player is the guy with the mask with the red eyes, right?

  • I'm afraid you can't no, not without going online with someone in the same room and looking at your guy on there screen, lol.

  • i agree, i think that wii owners are getting so desperate for an online fps that they will embrace a mediocre one just cuz it costs $10. in fact, people always seem to have low expectations for downloadable games, just because they are super cheap. the only difference between a downloadable game and a retail one should be graphics and amount of content.

people looking for a decent fps on wii should probably get cod4. i know that the wii's online sucks, but onslaught's is a joke, its just like SP

  • doesn't shooting mindless enemies who don't own guns and move really slow get boring after a while? those are the most bland and linear level design's i've ever seen (besides pokemon rumble)!

also, i agree about local multiplayer and classic controls, why didn't they include those? it's not hard at all, really, just create a splitscreen mode tacked onto the online mode, and anybody should know how to implement dual analog control, because it has been used in SO MANY fps's for SO LONG

  • I was bored after the first level bud, I begged my brother not to buy this crap and he still did, and he's never played it since that first week.

But then again, we are in an age where we praise mediocrity and shun greatness.

  • @DEIVION212 *Cough*, Halo, *Cough*

  • @nerftendo005 Yes, but there are some enemies that are a little harder than that, and it is actually fun for a little while.

  • @WolfHobbitVideos I don't see how this could ever possibly be fun. Then again, I've never been a fan of Halo (which plays similar to this), yet everybody else seems to love it.

  • @nerftendo005 I don't know why some people find tomboys hot at all yet I let them be

  • @DEIVION212 No

  • i have onslaught on wii someone add me on your wii my wii code is 5474 9781 6717 2061 let me know as soon as u can.

  • i currently have it downloading add me my wii code is 4229-1790-4731-8673 i'll add u name is rrjb

  • Hey, then why dont you people give Hudson the idea of making a second Onslaught on a disc, in my opinion, for a wiiware game, it was great. Not many great wifi wiiware games you can play now a days because nintendo sucks and doesn't like freedom of speech.

anyways. for those who still play onslaught. hit me up or PM me.

I beleive this game could spawn a better sequal, for me. This game has potential

  • i would welcome a onslaught 2 on a disc but i hope they fix the problem with this game. I mean this game was just boring. The A.I. wasn't that smart, the game got repetative ALOT, and the online just replicated the boring online single player. I'd welcome a second onslaught but they need to do some MAJOR work on it first.

  • What I would like is if they made a second game, but a little bit like moster hunter. Swarms and hordes of insects, gigantic bosses to beat. Yeah I didnt like that the online was the single player mode, atleast they maybe could have given us a versus multiplayer

  • How does the wifi feature work?

Can you play with friends or does the game pair you up with random people?

  • The features are, Friends codes (The 12 digit phone #) allow you to play with friends although you can't chat at all, random games pair you up with random people

  • I didn't like onslaught. I already had halo 3 and I expected more from this ( big mistake) but thats how it was sold to me

  • what were you expecting from a 48 mb 10 dollar game?

  • Something a whole lot better as I can get smaller sized games for less that are again, a whole lot better.

  • FInd me a WiiWare FPS with a smaller file size that's whole lot better than this. It's amazing enough that they managed to cram an fps into smaller than 40mb, and even though it's not a particularly groundbreaking game and doesn't have much of a flare, it at least shows the other developers that it CAN be done, because this is pretty much the first attempted fps on WiiWare.

  • I know right? hudson ould have made a better game, on a disc format, but instead they tried to make a small sized game to fit wii ware format.

    looks pretty decent to me.

and for 10 dollars is a bargain.

  • I'm thinking of getting this but can I ask you, "movement sensitivity", what does it do for the controls? All the videos I see of this have "Red Steel" type controls, but I prefer a much smaller 'aiming box' like Metroid, is this something which can be changed?

  • No idea, never change it or mess about because when I do I make things so much worse.

Conduit's the only one I've tried as it leads you by the hand and allows you to do it real time.

I'll have a look later one when I can though, see if I can shed some light on it.

  • It's alright thanks mate, I downloaded it anyway (1000 Wii Points christmas gift), at first I was like "this is pretty damn average" but it was like half an hour later when I realised how addicted to it I was, heh!

    That's why you're still a kid.

  • This Fantastic 1st Person Shooter Iz My Only Wii Ware Game And The Best Game

  • this game is bollocks ive got it. nobody get it cause youll be wastin your wiiware points for nothing.

  • do you need a nunchuck for this?

  • Yup.

Even mention it in the vid ;)

  • Why do dickweeds feel the need to prove that there total grade a wank stains?

  • i love first person shooters but is this acually worth getting and i have a question is it co-op?

  • its online co-op and its an awsome game but lacks local multiplayer and it is co op online but theres no deathmatch so its always co op so I love it but I dont recomend it to anyone

  • Co-op any good? Got WiiSpeak?

  • Didn't watch the vid did ya?

  • I did, just don't remember anything about that.

  • No co-op, pretty sure this was before Wii Speak.

  • Why don't you use the original gun you have in your hands starting level 1? It's full-auto, not annoying rapid-fire(2 different things), has a higher mag capacity, and it's more accurate. Trust me. I have the game.

  • Because then I wouldn't have shown the others off, and I hate that first gun.

  • Why, it has a bigger mag, and it doesn't shoot short bursts, fust full-auto.

  • Because shorts bursts greatly increases accuracy meaning less ammo is needed for a kill.

Works in real life, works in games.

  • Oh, but I like going scarface on these bag-faced dump-bag worms, and pointy-butt hive.

  • the first gun is good for small groups of bugs and you wont ever expect to run out of bullets for it

  • this is great if you have the wii zapper.

  • cant use wii zapper

you have to shake the wii remote to reload and shake nunchuk to wipe blood off your screen use grenades and your wipe so it wouldnt work out

  • cool game highly recomend it

  • It looks like an ok game, Id like local multiplayer though.

I see what you mean about that Thats why your still a kid line, thats gonna get really annoying fast.

  • Yup, it does.

  • youre great geordies rule!!!!!!

  • Not a geordie, I'm a mackem.

    But cheers anyway :)

  • yes u can play online

i have it and i love it

     10/10

  • lol "basically you run here shoot there. so basically its like halo" true this

  • do u play online?

  • Nope, sorry.

  • does anyone have this cause im looking for some to play with me and my cuz?!

  • yea me and my bro do. ill p.m you my FC

  • i have it what is your friend code for the game

  • You don't have to shake the wiimote to wipe your screen. Just the nunchuck (this may be different for europe though)

  • Annotation about 3 seconds in bud :)

  • What?

  • The controls thing, it's corrected in an annotation that appears on the video 3 seconds in.

  • Oh got it. Sorry didn't notice.

  • Don't worry about it :)

  • there is no such thing as standard controls for a Wii game. And who cares if you said you weren't getting the game; you don't have to explain yourself.

  • What is local multiplayer?

  • Where you and a friend or 6 (Some games have 7 player local) all play the game at the same time on one console in that room.

  • On splitscreen?

  • Splitscreen or same game (For example FIFA with 7 people).

  • Man online multiplayer for onslaught sucks. Basically all you do is you just play the same levels in the game with other people and you just compete with others to see who can get the most kills. That sucks. And the game is just boring. All you do is go around and fight the same brain-dead AI. And that is the whole games. The bosses make it a little more interesting but overall this game is boring. I guess it;s worth ten dollars for some but for me it isn't worth it.

  • witch is better, this or the conduit xD

  • Conduit. But Metroid Trilogy owns that.

  • Nah, your wrong. Metroid Other M owns both of those xD

  • How can it own, it isn't out, nor has anyone played it.

  • i seen previews of it

  • Previews don't mean jack though unfortunatly, many a game I've seen that looked amazing and it's turned out to be crap. Hell, I've even played demo's and loved them only to hate the full game.

I remeber looking at footage of Moto Roader and thinking it looked great fun, now, it may be the wosrt game out on the VC.

  • Yeah but, out of all the metroid prime games, they never fail, and i count metroid trilogy as 3 seperate games since it is

  • Obviously the condiut.

  • does this game have any enimes besides the worms and flys and does it have bosses and how many mb is 308 blocks

  • this kinda reminds me of like halo.

and is this worth it? because i enjoy first person shooting games :)

  • If you like Halo, probably.

Because I hate Halo and barely play this XD

  • its very worth it i very addictive

  • Thanks for making this! This game is my first and latest WiiWare :-)

Keep up the good work. Cheers.

  • Cheers, will do :)

  • omg i bought this game and its awesome. the only thing i dont like is that ur killin bugs.

  • it takes time for someone to join online but then its awsome well i like

  • Nice review! How many levels are there in the stroy mode and how easy is it to find an oponent in wi-fi?

  • Thanks :)

Think it's 16, can't really remember. As for WI-FI I never play it online but I hear of quite a few who still do, so hopefully it shouldn't be too hard.

  • ??? I so want this game but I have no clue what I should get off Wii Ware as using my very first 2000 points... My Pokemon Ranch or Onslaught. I'd like both of them but they both cost 1000 Wii points and I'm 'gonna get Internet for 500 Wii Points. Tell me which one I should get!!!! Oh, boy.

  • Well the Pokmenon thing is justa sotrage box, so seems pretty pricey as you get them in the games.

  • yeah the pokemon ranch is a storage box. But if you get so many pokemon stored up you get some really rare ones for free.

  • Still can't see the point, but then again I went off of Pokemon with R/S.

  • Yeah I know. I bought pokemon ranch for my little niece, she's about 8 and she loves it because her "mii" interacts with the pokemon. It's just a glorified storage box, all in all onslaught does seem to be the better choice.

  • fucking awesome! add me! xDD

    4297-1322-5368 triple six

  • can i add you as wii friend? plz

  • 2317-7224-7501-5848 :)

  • YEA ADD ME!! xDDD

    my friend code is 4297-1322-5368

and my user name is triple six

  • I don't play this anymore bud. Got bored of it in all honesty.

  • How could you get bored with it?!?

  • Because I've got a P.C with real FPS' like Half Life 2. And tomorrow I get the Metroid Trilogy.

  • is it hard on medeium

  • No, it's medium ;)

But yeah in all seriousness, it's about what I'd expect from a game. But, I expect games to be hard, in this generation, the medium on this is pretty hard compared to most other games.

  • one thing about your review (otherwise well done) you only shake the nunchuck to whipe your face NOT both, so that whole prioritize reloading over whiping face is wrong

  • Yup I know people keep saying and I keep forgetting to add it as an annotation.

Unfortunatly though it's because I hate motion controls in FPS games and I can never remember what does what. Both is shaking an enemy off though, right?

  • Oh, cheers though :D

  • yeah both in shaking them off but thats a sort of quicktime even that doesnt allow you to do anything else so reloading couldnt get in the way.

but anyways nice job on the review its clear and unbiased.

  • Cheers :)

  • lol I got this game and it kept on saying. "That's why your still a kid!" and "Are you okay?" it's sooooooooooooo annoying

  • No local multiplayer? That makes Red Steel, and Quantum of Solace the only FPS's on the Wii with it. Damn.

  • You must'nt have heard then. About the full on hardcore Water Warfare XD

    Done a vid of it.

Basically it's 2p local with 4p online, has classic control support and uses water pistols instead.

  • But honestly, a two player splitscreen FPS? Really? >_>

I hate the Wii so much sometimes...

  • Join the club.

Everyone raves about originality, well that's fine, but why can't we at least have tried and tested sometimes?

  • Hudson, the developer, believes that player vs. player violence is wrong. They do not add it in.

Because of the complaints, they released Water Warfare for 800 points, an FPS where it is all Super Soaker combat...

    WITH local AND online deathmatch

  • But even split screen co-op would've been better than this no split screen crap. And I love how this comes from a company that encourages suicide bombing (Bomberman).

  • Technically Bomberman is NOT suicide bombing, your not trying to get yourself killed you know. Your placing bombs to defeat others. Also that game so overly cutely done (chibi) and no blood, that its hard to even take it on a serious note.

  • I kill myself though, more than anyone else.
