@Petey8z most DnB drum lines are within 1/8 or 1/16th notes. Sure it's less than 3 beats, but one beat = 4 1/4 notes in a 4/4 line, and that's at least 12 notes a drummer has to play in one second. Unless a drummer has 4 hands, I highly doubt he can hit that many notes in one second.

Listening to it more, it sounds like they simplified the syncopation for the live version. I don't hear as many kicks or snares used compared to the album version.

@KyojiK just wanna say that 12 strokes a second is not very fast for a drummer, world record is over 1200 strokes a minute (20 per sec), if you're an average drummer you should have no problem with 12 per sec ;)
