You cannot actually use the katana. Perhaps if you wanted this video to be at all convincing, you could have adjusted the sword images lighting to match with that of the surrounding environment. Presently, it's just too bright. Quite obvious it was simply cut from another image and pasted onto your screen shots.

you can get sceurity armor and the katana,if you own the Halo 3:the complete experinece. its easy at least get 960 gamer score then you just restart your xbox then quickly go to helmet and and the secrity helmet should be unlocked for about 5 seconds, if you do it fast enough you will keep it and the same thing goes for the katana. It WORKS!!!! TRY IT!!! REPLY IF IT WORKS!(It can be any achievements that add up to 960 or more)!!! attach the armor pieces to keep them

Nice photoshop and to the guys who lost their katanas, mines not quite like that. I finally got security and katana at 1300 gs and 48 achievments and it works but like every other 3 games it switches my armor back to mark 6 and says I don't have the katana n security I have to make my character an elite then switch back to Spartan it's really annoying. I think the katana and security is just really really glitchy in general.

Make sure you have the original 49 achievements that shipped with the game. This ensures Security and Katana will stay unlocked. 1000 G isn't always enough and every time you get an achievement, the armor will unlock and relock constantly. This won't happen for too much longer before they will stay unlocked so go get some more achievements :)
