how many times a week can you do these workouts on the rings? I dont care about building muscle or anything, but im in combat sports and would like to maximize my performance for that. Also, does this help with just isometric type strength, or does it also help with the explosiveness needed for punches?
how long do you rest between sets btw? Very good progressions, I just bought the same rings, no where near your level yet mate! Keep up the good work!
@MorphousInfinity rest as much as you need to recover when training skills. You shouldn't be very fatigued when practicing. Keep your skill work and your conditioning separate
Looks like the inverted cross is almost there! Beast. I gotta say dude i hope you compete at xfit sectionals this year and tear it up. Any plans to do so?
If you are more interested in training for gymnastic skills like the planche and front & back levers I would suggest reading coach sommers book: building the gymnastic body.
2:32 NICE! looks like a slow l-sit muscle up, whatever it is looks hard & at 3:05 were you catch your legs around the straps is a great idea for stability when there isn't a wall around. i hope your gymnastics journey is just as exciting as some or your early barbell throwing workouts!
