a friend once got me a dresden dolls cd after hearing me listen to frustration plantation 6 years ago. i gave it two listens just to be open minded and tossed it. rasputina is passionate and moving...dresden dolls is just kind of quirky and annoying.
I love the Dolls and Rasputina equally but completely understand you; they're completely different musically and I hate that they're considered similar based only on the 'goth' qualification that they both hate.
