Ingrid's my #1 actress of all time. I have a book about the making of Casablanca and it talks about how she would often actually fall in love with her opposite in a film. Apparently she needed to do this to really get into a role. Then, after the shooting was done, it would be hard for "her love" to even get her on the phone! I guess because she was starting all over with the leading man in her next picture. Thanks for sharing this beautiful tribute.

Beautiful tribute. I read an Ingrid bio not too long ago and it spoke of her natural luminous beauty - it must have been something in person. Also of her beautiful spirit. I think your quote illustrates that.
