  • No you will need the fanned fret saddles which are longer.

  • Sure... its arm number 5361 at the Wammi World website under accessories, then arms.

  • @wammiworld do you know where i can get a palm bar? i cant find one anywhere

  • you really have been helpful thanks a lot i owe ya one

  • hey mate did this guitar already have a trem cavity already cut out, and was it much work to fit the kahler

  • @angrytroll27 It was already cut out and had a Kahler installed in it when I got it. The Strat is the simplest axe to put a Kahler on. I have instructions in the FAQ section at Wammi World online for the Strat..

  • how would i put a kahler on a standers tele?

  • @thatguy5557123

You would use a 7300 and a PL-9 adapter plate. You an see it on the 7300 page at wammiworld

  • @wammiworld awsome thank you soo much

  • It's $179 after promo code and it comes with a Free Kahler T shirt, Free shipping, Free string lock, Free strings, and a Free drop tuning stop. And its covered by my exclusive double extended warranty... All at my website wammiworld

  • so how much would one be for a tune-o-matic bridge type?

  • @darkdragonslaye2007 The TOM bridge requires the 7200 model.

  • @wammiworld do u have any idea how much 1 of those are?

  • Does the tuning change when going from trem to fixed ? And can it be adjusted to stay in tune while changing from trem to fixed ? Thank you. I am thinking of putting one on a Casio PG-380 to free up the spring cavity for internal wireless. Has a floyd rose ( Gotoh ) now.

  • @asicit2b It will stay in tune if you adjust it right from the start. Once you have tuned up you unlock it and then adjust back to in tuned spot....then the hole will be lined up for locking/unlocking easily between songs.

  • @wammiworld Thank you. And you have very good videos, your demonstrations have answered a lot of questions I had. One more about the String size. I will assume that .010 - .052 will be O.K. with the stock

springs ? I seen your comment on the string size and springs. Thanks again.

  • @asicit2b .010 - .052 will work but you will probably need/want the heavy spring set PN#8513 and for sure will need an extra wide string hook PN#9408.

  • @wammiworld Thank you. You have been very helpfull.

  • So if you tighten the bridge (so it's not a tremolo) like you did at the beginning, it would play like a fixed bridge?

  • @ekkokae That is correct.

  • @ekkokae yes that is correct

  • which model is this being demoed? and how easy is it to install a kahler 7300 on a flat top guitar?

  • @amithabajan2 It's a 7300 in the video. Its easy. I have instructions in the faq section at wammiworld online

  • can you use a Kahler 7330 on a guitar without a trem?

  • @Krainga Yes you can. it is flat underneath and needs no routing at all.

  • @wammiworld so you just screw it on the guitar?

  • @Krainga Correct.

  • I just got a 7300 installed on my guitar, and it seems as if it has no pull up range. I can divebomb all I want to, but I can't pul it up past the point where you lock the cam. Is that normal?

  • There could be a couple of reasons... #1 is probably because the arm is already too high in the air. There is an adjustment in the middle of the cam.. it will make the arm go down. If the springs are stock and you are using 11 and up then you need the bass springs instead. Either your strings are too heavy for the springs or the cam adjustment has not been adjusted correctly. Look again at this video. note the shelf that the fine tuners are screwed into,.. the shelf should be level.

    Wammi J.

  • How about some Kahler "fulcrum" tremolo tips or replacement ideas (to fit the small cavity with no fuss, no muss?

  • Kahler fulcrums were made for Floyd rose. This includes the 2500, 2710, 2720 and 2760 models. There is no Kahler replacement for a Fulcrum without major modifications. FYI: Kahler will be debuting a new drop in replacement for any fulcrum like a floyd rose at the NAMM show this year.. This new tremolo will absolutely blow any fulcrum out of the universe!!! You have never seen anything like this bad ass bridge in a fulcrum design before... Stand by for sheer greatness!

  • @wammiworld Humm.. i just bought a 1986 charvel model 3A, that has a fulcrum in it... how bad is it then lol what am i gettin my self into?, im a noob when i comes to tremolo systems... tis why my next guitar had to have one cos i wanna start playin around with em..

  • to install do u need to cut any holes to install it? i got a Epiphone Explorer

  • All Kahler bass and guitar tremolos need a shallow surface route in the body.

Whether it a flat top body or a carved one, the routing depth in the body top is always the same. All Kahler cam tremolos are routed 1" deep. You can download all the templates at Wammi World dot com. You need about 2-1/16" to about 2-1/4" between the bridge sections small E saddle notch and the center/middle of the stop tail piece to be "in the ballpark" for mounting a 7200 without having to relocate the studs.

  • @wammiworld alrighty. thanks dude

  • thinking of getting a 2200 any huge difference in it?

  • Not really. You can get specific tones and features from the Pro models because they are custom shop versions made by hand where you pick and choose your cams, saddles and colors. That's why there are the 4 models in the 22xx Series and 4 like models in the 23xx Series. In a nutshell ...Kahler Pros are signature models you specifically order, Hybrids are factory made in the USA for the masses, and sold thru retailers, while X-Trems are factory made in China for lower price point import guitars.

  • @wammiworld alright thanks a lot, putting a 2200 on my BC Rich this week never knew about the difference between pro series and all that, hope you have a great weekend.

  • how do i get the string into the bridge? i get the part where you have to bend the string by the ball but i dont know how to put the string into the bridge

  • The ball end gets dropped into a string hook. You drop it in and it gets caught in the hook. The string passes through a slot in the hook. When you attach the string and there is pull on it, the string is held in place. There is a picture of it on the kahlerparts website home page. It looks like a comma.

  • What would you do if you don't have a Hybrid vibrato, like the one shown? I have a Kahler Pro on a guitar, but how do I block that one effectively?

  • You cant really block it effectively. You need a locking frame and string cage. You might as well get a new one and trade the old one in.

  • Thanks for putting this up

  • is that the 7300 ?

  • Yes it is a 7300

  • They will not break if you use reinforced tremolo strings. 90% of all strings are NOT for tremolos. Use ONLY...SIT, RotoSound, GHS boomers or DR Elixer. All others will not stand up. Remember the thumb rule... cheap strings are not good. spend the money and use less aspirin...lol

  • hi! i´m from resistencia, chaco in Argentina and i thankyou so much for this video... you saved my life!!!

  • Thank you for thhe comment..I am very happy to help.

  • yes, and its not hard. I just explain it well...lol

  • @wammiworld

i messed with the arm clutch on my jh 600 and i can't insert the whammy bar because it's blocked can u tell me what to do

  • Yes all you need to do is bring the Allen back to the top and then the arm will go in. There is a piece of white nylon that is in the way. It is the arm clutch. The allen has a point to it. it stabs into the weed eater type nylon cord and spreads it apart which gets crammed against the threads.

  • @wammiworld

hey thanks for your answer it was very clear but i have another one

i followed some instructions to enhance the kahler stability but unfortunately it didn't work for me and worse the guitar went completely out of tune even without touching it,i need u to help me to reset everything because the guitar is really unstable

  • omg this looks hard do u have to this every time u change the strings

  • @vicgarcia30 No.. he was just showing all the various adjustments that can be made. If you use the same string gauges every time you don't have to do all that. BUT any floating bridge is gonna require extra steps compared to a fixed bridge. This doesn't look like as much pain as tuning up a floyd rose! Looks like I'm gonna have to buy myself a Kahler for my next project guitar :)

  • can you post these instructions/steps on your website?

  • What kind of nut lock are you using? I thought Kahler string locks went behind the nut, While Floyd Rose's replaced the nut?

  • It is a 5511 Kahler locknut.

  • awesome vid, I have a BC Rich KKW with a Kahler. This video was a big help. Thank you.
