so glad we didnt even try to get in. Yaletown was a mess of drunken slobs that night and I feel sorry for the people who went there to actually enjoy the music. Hope all of you who were injured heal up quickly! Too bad the concert had to be cancelled.

It is not the bands fault, and it is definately not the fans fault that this happened. VANNOC f****ed up again. There are weighted, reinforced barriers that should have been put up with concert security supporting along the fence. Then there are these crap ones they put in that got obliterated in a matter of seconds of the band starting. It is a hardcore show! COME ON... the cancellation and the injuries are 100 % VANNOC's fault and adds to their record of terrible venue planning thus far.

Just an FYI.. . VANOC has absolutely nothing to do with the LiveCity venues. The Yaletown and Downtown sites are run and organized by the city of Vancouver.
