Im a Michigan fan who lives in Ohio. I absolutely hate everything about Ohio state. But, I have to say, their band totally kicks any other marching bands ass. If you disagree even if you hate Ohio state, you should reconsider your thoughts.

@komacak1212 I'm an Ohioan too, but my son attends Michigan and is in the MMB, (an interesting dilemma for me). He tells me the MMB were the first to perform Script Ohio. The Ohio State Marching Band has since made it their own and do it brilliantly!

Ok, it's spelled "sousaphone" after John Phillip Sousa.. just to clear that up. And Script Ohio is really cool. I'm a trumpet player in the Longhorn Band, and I know alot of Texas people give Ohio State crap for this, but this really is impressive. And to be the sousaphone that gets to dot the "i" would be the coolest thing ever. Very nice OSU, that is awesome.
im 15 and i play the tuba for my high school marchingband. im the only girl that has played the tuba at my high school for like 4 years! and the tuba isnt heavy unless you make it heavy, if you let the fact that your carrying like 32 pounds on your left side get to your head then yeah it'll be heavy. anywayyy. when i see this it makes me want to try harder so someday i may get the chance to dot the i. and tubas rule, without tubas there would be no band.
im in a high school marching band and the tubas abvously have the most fun in our band! i play the fllute so it doesnt really matter what we play u cant hear us anyway. we always make a joke out of the tubas because at the end of band practise we huddle up and we have announcments and one of the tubas normally says "tubas at the racks!!" and i feel bad for the lone girl in that section:P
Holy crap, what kind of carriers are those bass players using? I try to do that with my drum and it keeps knocking me in the head and coming off the carrier! (Yes, I'm using loop hooks)...
