I remember this game as a kid and i LOVED IT, played it with my life, just didnt like some glitches, like ill never forget how the oppostie teams goalie ground passed the puck from his net right into my net and my goalie didnt even try for it he jjust watched it slide from one net into the other lol

I like that, this game seems kinda slow. That was my problem with Snes sports games they were very slow. Only sports game I really liked was Super Tecmo Bowl. Other then that I was always a sega sports guy.

@Slacker4LiFe247 The Genesis has a ton of great sports titles, eh? The Madden games definitely feel a lot slower on the Snes for example.

I had this game around 94-95, and loved every minute of it.. Saw it again after 15 years, and WOW, how much games have changed.. this looks so retarded, haha

i just played this game for the first time today on my dingoo a320 pocket emulator. it was unplayable. i thought maybe the dingoo was too slow to handle it. but now i see this game is just bad.

SNES/Genesis should stick to 2D games only. 3D games have always been horrible on those consoles. 3D is for 5th gen consoles and up.

i liked this game 3d graphic's, good controls, good camera angles, the bad side is slow players, and no logos and number's.

Easy to score... skate straight through the center, about a half inch before the face-off circle hit the "puck clearance" button. The puck goes over the goalies head and straight in the goal. We called it the "Cheapo Shot" and I once won a game against the computer 164-0.

i think thease 3d games were made on the genesis and super nintendo to test out how it would look and play if the companies dicided to take advanage of the technology like they did. ps1 n64 saturn

Another easy way to score is to dump it in on the net from near the blue line and it goes over the goalies head.

easiest way to score is slap shot it from centre and it bounces off the back boards puck bounces front of net for the easy goal

Hey Ryan I liked this game dude wth? Looking back on it now it looks quite ahem Lacklustre. Back in the day though scoring with Jagr and Lemieux on the Penguins was sweet. I got pretty good at this game. But the Mode 7 got a little repetitive and also seeing now advertisements or fans seemed really odd too.

scoring goals was too easy in this game .... just take your player dead center of the ice and have him go to the blue line heading straight towards the goalie. dump the puck at the goal at the blue line or just before it, and the goalie will misplay it over his head .... lights the lamp almost every time.

Yeah, I would have been more forgiving if it was still the 1990's because it did a few things right but in the end Stanley Cup just doesn't age well.
