mostly yes they choose su 27 for dogfights but as people say the real dogfighter can use for fight any flying object with the gun forward. as for me i use only su 27 and have no idea how to fly f 15).
if that jet had thrust vectoring when the first started you could of just kiked the rudder left & get on him & end it great dogfighting though like how you kept ur nose on them @ all times
Nope that jet has no thrust vectoring it is the model of 1980th. I beleve use of thrust vectoring could give some advantage during stall fight otherwise it would bring to serious lose of speed.

And, do always people choose Su-27 for dogfights or sometimes people choose other planes as Su-33, MiG-29 or F-15?
