That's a pretty neat upper. I didn't know there was one being made. I really don't like the new youtube look. It makes it more difficult to see the videos from the people I'm subscribed to, like you. / :
sweet video but it looks like you could have edited out alot of the non-action between rounds being fired. Im thinking of getting a 22 conversion for my glock 19 you should do a video on one of those if you can, thanks for the vid!
I was just thinking that it's simpler to put a conversion kit on the AR and not have to reregister for a new gun. Its awesome how they've done this for both rifles and handguns it makes it easier to obtain ammo if you have 2 diff guns on hand.
@awomansworld123 Often times it's not a matter of registration ( registering? Engrish, how does it work?!? )
but rather cost. It's more effective to acquire a separate, complete upper to use with your existing lower, you'll get to spend on a higher quality upper and still retain the fire controls and overall ergos you're already customized to your likes. it's like a 1911 .22lr conversion.. After you've spent all that money after trigger work and ergos, why start back again on a new gun?
@awomansworld123 That's a good point about pistol conversions. It's nice that companies have come up with clever ways to give us more options for what we have.
@TheHiddenPart See I knew you would know. The shooter here didn't seem to have any issues with this at all. I was just surprised how many mags he had scattered all the bench.
i could use one of those uppers, the cost of 5.56 MM is way to costly the way we go shooting ,i would find away to make those mags hold 50 or 100 rnds though, not 15 rds
@daewooparts Definitely, with .22 it's nice to have a ton loaded up. Such a pain to keep reloading little 10 round mags over and over. Then you end up with a sore, black thumb at the end of the day.
@Laz3rT3ch There are a number of dedicated .22LR AR style guns, but many AR15 owners find that by just slapping on an upper or a conversion kit, they can do it a little cheaper plus they don't have to register a new gun.
We don't like to ask other people at shooting ranges to film their guns, so we just buy every gun we film.. but then storage is an issue, so we end up throwing a lot of them away.. so cost of doing videos can get pretty expensive
@taofledermaus you're welcome ! this is the only way i have for thank you to upload all these awesome videos ! if you need an help in future contact me ! i'll be happy to help you...

I've always thought that firearms are a mechanical art. I have never fired one and don't plan on it, but it's impossible for me to ignore such genius, whether it be used for recreation or war.

@TheHiddenPart Very good point. Train with .22LR all day long and it should transfer well when you shoot the more expensive stuff.

.22, woot woot.
Yumyumtuna 10 months ago
OOOps I'm lateee!!! Someone beat me to it!
And yes, the upper is a unit from Chiappa Firearms ( Armi Chiappa ), the same of the Chiappalloy .22lr 1911 pistol, wich is crap.
There are a number of .22lr complete uppers on the market for the AR platform,
and the Chiappa you filmed here is the cheapest and for a reason.
Italians generally have a rep for making quality firearms, this is not the case.

@TheHiddenPart See I knew you would know. The shooter here didn't seem to have any issues with this at all. I was just surprised how many mags he had scattered all the bench.
taofledermaus 10 months ago
@taofledermaus Well, complete upper made in Italy, Chiappa is the ony one making them.
And I went by that - and the fact that the bolt cover looks like plastic -.
Did the whole upper look like plastic? Chiappa's unit is 100% plastic, except for the internals.
100% recycled Barbie dolls plastic If I'm not mistaken. that makes them weak.

@taofledermaus what's this "register" you're speaking of?
LOL just joking, we have registration here too... :(
TheHiddenPart 10 months ago
@Laz3rT3ch Umarex doen't produce firearms. The one you mention is a Colt-marketed Walther production.
Exactly, it's made by the same Walter Ulm Do that once made P38s and P1s.

Oh, I missed the part where you mentioned it being an Italian-made upper. So it wouldn't be a Tac Solutions upper.
My guess is that it is an Armi Jager upper. They make guns in Italy, IIRC..
