@masterkokiri9 - She did cling onto her feelings when she was reborn, but she basically let go of her feelings for Inuyasha later on, devoting her new life to destroying the person who had killed her. Inuyasha was the one who clung onto her and kept going after her.
The fact that she sealed him instead of killing him proves that she truly loved Inuyasha, even when she thought that he was the one who had fatally injured her.
You need to see episodes 147-148. There u see that Kikyo reeeeeeallllyy loved Inuyasha. You can see how happy she is with him. Besides, what sibsiberiansib says is right, at ep 148 Kaede explains it, Kikyo would have killed Inuyasha if she wanted to, but instead she used the sealing arrow. That's because she loved him and didn't want to kill him.
And when you really get into it, the blame really shouldn't have gone to Kikyo, but whoever the heck it was that revived her (I can't remember the exact name) in the first place. After all, if she hadn't wanted a Sacred Jewel detector, Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship probably would've resulted in less heartbreak.
@Crazy4NewMoon Yeah, I like Kikyo a lot too. I dunno why people are hating on her. As if being killed so many times, losing her love interest, and in general being maimed wasn't bad enough, now she's got the majority of the fanbase saying she needs to die.

Sure Kikyo 'loved' Inuyasha, but that's because he was 'forbidden' to her. She wasn't allowed to be a real woman, and her entire life revolved around protecting a jewel. I think she convinced herself she loved him because it would take her away from the life she had. That's why she wanted him human, so she could get rid of the Jewel.
But that's it you know? She was selfish, and she died, whether it was her fault or not. Her time is over and she needs to end it. It was a first love dude.
I like Kikyo,but i still think Inuyasha belongs with Kagome.Kikyo even said so in a episode that she does not belong with Inuyasha.Kikyo even realized that Inuyasha cares about Kagome more it was realized in one episode.Inuyasha and Kagome belong together anyways it is them who are together at the end of The Final Act.
I do believe that Inuyasha never could love Kagoma like he does Kikyou, even if she has parrted, if he never did love her the way he did, he wouldn't have kissed her as she died in his arms, for Kagome was right there.

I used to be a Kikyo hater but now I realize her suffering... I used to get mad at her for being such a jerk to Kagome... but thats only because Kikyo's jelouse and I already knew that. But I think its terrible how she never was able to live as an ordinary girl, always having to fight and died in battle not even half way through her life.... and by the one she loves no less....
I feel really sorry for Kikyo but her and Inuyasha's personalities just don't mix to me. Inuyasha has a short temper and Kikyo is always calm and serious. I just think Kagome is a better match for him.

@masterkokiri9 - She did cling onto her feelings when she was reborn, but she basically let go of her feelings for Inuyasha later on, devoting her new life to destroying the person who had killed her. Inuyasha was the one who clung onto her and kept going after her.
The fact that she sealed him instead of killing him proves that she truly loved Inuyasha, even when she thought that he was the one who had fatally injured her.

You need to see episodes 147-148. There u see that Kikyo reeeeeeallllyy loved Inuyasha. You can see how happy she is with him. Besides, what sibsiberiansib says is right, at ep 148 Kaede explains it, Kikyo would have killed Inuyasha if she wanted to, but instead she used the sealing arrow. That's because she loved him and didn't want to kill him.

Well, I should've figured out that if Kikyo wanted to, she COULD have killed Inuyasha instead of using a sealing arrow, but other than that.
And now that I think about it, I can't really remember why I thought what I said in the first place.

And when you really get into it, the blame really shouldn't have gone to Kikyo, but whoever the heck it was that revived her (I can't remember the exact name) in the first place. After all, if she hadn't wanted a Sacred Jewel detector, Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship probably would've resulted in less heartbreak.

@Crazy4NewMoon Yeah, I like Kikyo a lot too. I dunno why people are hating on her. As if being killed so many times, losing her love interest, and in general being maimed wasn't bad enough, now she's got the majority of the fanbase saying she needs to die.
I think people should learn to cut the girl some slack, she's been through a lot and she's pretty awesome when you think about it. Also, had it not been for her, Inuyasha wouldn't have had much of a chance against Hakudoshi.

Sure Kikyo 'loved' Inuyasha, but that's because he was 'forbidden' to her. She wasn't allowed to be a real woman, and her entire life revolved around protecting a jewel. I think she convinced herself she loved him because it would take her away from the life she had. That's why she wanted him human, so she could get rid of the Jewel.
But that's it you know? She was selfish, and she died, whether it was her fault or not. Her time is over and she needs to end it. It was a first love dude.

I like Kikyo,but i still think Inuyasha belongs with Kagome.Kikyo even said so in a episode that she does not belong with Inuyasha.Kikyo even realized that Inuyasha cares about Kagome more it was realized in one episode.Inuyasha and Kagome belong together anyways it is them who are together at the end of The Final Act.

I do believe that Inuyasha never could love Kagoma like he does Kikyou, even if she has parrted, if he never did love her the way he did, he wouldn't have kissed her as she died in his arms, for Kagome was right there.

He was so freaking funny...like when he comes into Ed's hospital room and Winry's there and he's like "Getting it on with a girl in your room Ed?" xD that part was great! And then he had the adorable daughter/wife and...he was just awesome. And then that BASTARD Envy kills him. DAMMIT! TT-TT Kikyo too. I used to be a Kikyo hater but now I realize her suffering... I used to get mad at her for being such a jerk to Kagome... but thats only because Kikyo's jelouse and I already knew that. But I think its terrible how she never was able to live as an ordinary girl, always having to fight and died in battle not even half way through her life.... and by the one she loves no less....

I feel really sorry for Kikyo but her and Inuyasha's personalities just don't mix to me. Inuyasha has a short temper and Kikyo is always calm and serious. I just think Kagome is a better match for him.

damn Naraku had to ruin it up by disguising himself as inuyasha and attacking Kikyo who wouldve used the shikon jewel to make Inuyasha fully human. this song Ive looked for a while now and I finally found it.
