I knew the place via Anne of Green Gables a few years back and became quite interested in such settings. I think it's a good place to live. It just seems so slow paced, peaceful and stress free even compared to where I'm living.

P.E.I. is the best, I grewup in a rural setting and have been gone now for a few years but it will always be home, from its many beaches in the summer,to its wild and crazy snowstorms in the winter. Hope to bemoved back home soon!!!

We have a quiet gay comunity but people are generally down with it. Rent is cheap, dirt cheap compared to Calgary (might as well buy) and we only have one Starbucks, it's in charlottetown. Most peolpe are white.. there's the occasional dark person but people are pretty cool with that too I guess, especially more towards the middle of the island like between Summerside and Charlottetown. I don't know what you're looking for for a job but I dunno, somtimes it's harder and others.. not so hard.

I went there in 2001 when I was 17. I have very good memories but its far. Now I can't stand Montreal no more. I just find out that I need the beach and something more calm. Its my plan to go there in the next couple of years when my english will be perfect (I speak french).

Anyone know if its easy to find jobs there?

Since I'm not an adult yet, I can't go on my own, so I'm planning on going the summer after I graduate high school, and I'm a freshman. I am from Montréal and I visited Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, N.B..N.S, and P.E.I. I think P.E.I is the best place in the Canada. What a beautiful place and beautiful people. It is a great, "home feeling" place

I think we recorded the tune in a local pub with a small group but can't remember thee name of the tune. Just a improv piece that we thought caught the flavor of the place.

Oh, I think it's changed a great deal in some respects. More roads, services and the like. But in many ways it's still a bucolic, charming and authentic place to visit especially in the summer and spring.
