it looks good! I got to get the Cantu a try again I have a natural friend that loves it. I hear you with the feel part I'd rather go for feeling soft hair then rock hard hair. that twistout is the BOMB!! your hair has grown nicely

I want my hair to be soft rather than set and defined too. have you tried any butters to seal like mango butter, avocado butter? i find they work well in the winter esp when it is dry and castor oil is a no no

Oh my goodness, your hair is so cute! It is so healthy and moisturized looking. And you did a great job of fluffing it out. A lot of people don't fluff enough and it looks scalpy, or fluff too much and it looks frizzy; You fluffed just right!

Did I mention I love ya hair?!LOL...I always do my twist on wet hair.Makes awesome twist outs for me and my girls. And if we have to LOVE our shrinkage!LOL...Since I always do on wet hair, if we want the twist stretched more, we add clamps to the end of each one we do, and let it hang;-) Thanx for sharing love!

I agree it is your best twist-out. I like the bobby pin trick too. Cantu Shea Butter is good stuff but the fragrance is just too strong - any suggestions on how to mask the odor. I like a more medicinal smell like pure tee tree oil.

Soror, you are just too fly for me; you always have everything on point!

I use the Cantu Shea Butter Leave In on wet hair, too! I tend to use coconut oil with it but I've used jojoba before & it worked well. I use a little gel, too. For a soft hold try twisting with a little bit of ORS: Lock & Twist Gel and for a firmer hold use Eco-Styler.

@PearlfectJourney Thanks Soror! Coconut oil is always my first choice but girl I "saw" it solidify on my hair a few weeks ago b/c of the cold and it freaked me out. LOL! I'm shelfing it until spring. I'm gonna try the ORS since I have tons of sample jars. Thanks!
