I was looking a song for my students to sing, and then Santa`s super sleigh came to my mind. I didn`t know that it is fictional, but of course i`ve seen `about a boy ` many times so I guess my brain did it unconciously. I love the movie and this song too. Than you for posting it.

Thanks for downloading this from my annual christmas compilation. I try to put quirky stuff on there for people to discover, and I too had been looking for this song for years.

This is “a famous song” which people “always sang” and is “on every Christmas album ever made”. A one hit wonder penned by Charles Freeman in 1938 which, for its author, was “a terrible reminder of how badly he had failed in his life”.
