what is the 0-60 time on a car like this? im thinking about getting a mustang with this exhaust. is it fast then a stock 2002 ford mustang gt?

@JEFFREY2817 unfortunetely the 0-60 on this gt is only 6.7 seconds vs 5.4 seconds in a 99-04. the 99-04 have a PI swap (performance increase) that makes a HUGE difference. i'd say if your in the market for a mustang gt, get the 01-04. 01-04 is a little different then the 99-00's (different spoiler, interior, wheels, etc...)

@speeddemon0712 6.7? I thought more of 6.1 - 6.4 depending on driver. Mid 14 sec 1/4 mile. Not too bad if you put some work into these things. If you're serious about modding an SN-95, I think the 94-95 5.0L's are a lot better a cheaper too mod. Aftermarket heads for a 5.0 are like 1k vs. about 2k for a 4.6. But with H/C/I swap,exhaust,etc. you can run 12's. then throw in a vortech, and you got 11's.

yeah this is pretty badass... but mine is a 96 gt too n has the same exhaust n mine is so much louder n cracklier?? and ur rpm's stick really really bad.... plus mine has stock 2.73 gears and i can grab 2nd better than that n chirp 3rd.

@gobabygo67 nah, you should be ok. just make sure that your whole exhaust is level. my exhaust shop, somehow, welded the muffler backwards. no big deal, sounds no different, but since they did, i couldnt get in my garage without scraping. i took it back, they reversed it, problem solved

My GT gets ~200mi to the tank with mostly highway driving and not so conservative town driving.

Edit: Well I fill up around 200mi, I've never seen the fuel warning light turn on. I could probably go for 250+ if I had to. With the gas prices here it costs about $24 per 200mi.

i get like 225 a tank and thats right under 1/4. its like 12 gallons right under 1/4 so for a v8 its pretty decent on gas

yea i watched a couple 5.4L mustangs.. not a bad idea after seeing it. but with that size engine and it being a mustang, you shouldnt expect much from gas mileage. but id say you should still get somewhere between 14-16 city tho

Its a 2004 GT, stock. The GT isn't bad on gas at all really.
