@smoochietara If your stitches are too loose this is a tension problem(meaning your not wrapping your stitches tight enough..you don't want them too tight either...Practice usually helps with this. Another thing you can try is a styler pen...if you do a youtube search on "styler pen mikeyssmail' the tutorial that pops up will teach you how to make one of these yarn guides out of a pen..wrapping with one of these will help you with tension....see if that helps..Cathy@the crochet crowd Helpdesk :)
This video is awesome I've been looking for someone tho show me how to do this an they make it look so hard now if only you did a cast off on this pattern it would be amazing
For the life of me, despite how good of a teacher you are, I cannot get this figured out. I'm ok casting on UNTIL I get to the dang end, and have to wrap around and go back. *sigh* I'm giving up for now, but I'll keep trying. (I'm very non-crafty...obviously.)
Thanks. So much better than the "instructions" that come with the loom. I've used the round looms before but think I like the rectangular one better. I'm doing a double rib scarf and will be back to find out how to cast off before long. Thanks again.
just bought this set of looms for $20 said detailed instrustions, yeah right! so I figured I'd find out here everything is on you tube. Now I have to redo what I did but glad to know who to do it. And a guy doing it is so cool thanks alot
Hi Mikey, Ive been enjoying your tutorials so much. I had a hard time latching onto how to do looming until I found young Joccy101 first and now you. I made your xmas stocking (daughter loves it!).
My fave long loom is 22" and makes nice panels that can be stitched together to make a blanket. I also have a knitting board but have a hard time with it - maybe you will do tutorial on that someday.
why does is it to lose when I do this
