I too just finished the book The Earth, My butt and other round things and it was GREAT!!! The song is just what Annie Mills described as being empowering in that Ani DiFranco doesn't sound like a victim due to the situation she sings about. Funny that this happens to so many girls/women...sad thing is that it can change your perception of guys overall. Life Lessons :/

I agree completely. That book was great, not your average Teen book. I knew about her before, my sister listens to her (Actually, she's quite like Anais in some ways)

But that was a really good book. I hate that they banned it in the states for a while.

@namaste53 I think it would be a great book for guys if you really wanted to see what goes on in our heads. I vote that you should read it and see how you like it. I hate that people are stereotypical about books. The reason that you only find a bunch of girls who like it is because guys probably haven't even tried to read it. i read the earth, my but, and other big round things for my isu novel at school. its an awesome book!! it's so really and straight forward. there are no sugar coatings. virginia is definitely a great role model and she represents nothing less than woman power! i really recommend it!
