Dont care if you keep looking at these posts but had to say something to defend from a perspective that has yet to have light shed on it.

1) Dont call someone cheap or dirty just because you dont like him yes i will admit some are but you guys are over compensating.

2) There is no way you guys can say you dominated the WHOLE series. the pens had to catch up and make it 2-2 and we had to catch up to force a game 7.

This was one of the most exciting playoff series I have ever seen in my life, and the Penguins did NOT crush them. Caps had an off night this game, it could have gone the other way too, like when Pittsburgh lost 5-0 to Detroit in game 5 of the finals.

And I'm saying this as a diehard Penguins fan, the Caps deserve respect and Ovechkin is probably the best player in the league (he is right now anyway, that could easily change,..Crosby tends to be streaky)

yeah, as a pens fan honestly this series could've gone either way. it was crazy the first 6 games but neither could turn the tide until game 7. i watch these highlight videos and i still get ridiculously nervous. what a great series.

but, i think the only team that could've been the red wings was pittsburgh. ovechkin & co. have no clue what its like to play the likes of lidstrom/datsyuk/lidstrom/rafa­lski. they made shutting the top line down look like a piece of cake.

actually sid has great hand eye coordination, i.e. game 6 against the flyers, game 3 against the canes, just let it go, both are the best with malkin, ovie has the best, most accurate "snipers" shot of the 3, yes, but in terms of an over all player to build your team around, sid and malkin take the cake, that's what makes a cup contending team and that's how the cup changes everything
