This is a lot of fun! The writing is smart and awesome! I want a skateboard like Conan's!
Though, it should still work at nighttime. Solar powered things come with a back up battery that gets recharged by sun light so when at nighttime it can supply the machine and not have a loss of power.
They should change that restriction to match modern day technology.
