When i was a kid i never got a christmas present because we were very very very poor, So i promised my self to never do that to my kids(if i have any). After many years of hard work i am wealthy, but i have no kids(i'm single). So i donate a whole lot of toys to kids in need in the u.s and in mexico. I urge to all people in youtube to do the same, cause BELIEVE ME!! being a kid and not having a christmas present to open iN christmas...really sucks!!!

I love this song, it recalls when America was the country that could buckle up and defeat the most evil regime of its time - the Nazis - then settle down, reclaim its innocence and build a nation that - while it had its flaws - set several generations up for prosperity and peace. It is so sad that we've dropped the ball and trashed that legacy. Does anybody "give thanks to the Lord above" anymore? More likely, they give thanks to their i-phones. . .
