my dvc 107 platinum will only record on xp and doesnt work with vegas. Its a pain. Will this work with vegas and a windows 7 laptop?

I lost my Wii's RCA cables... if I find one at like Wal-Mart or Radio Shack, would it still fit into the slot in the back? bcuz it doesn't look like it would fit. I just use AV and 12V=n slots & wires. Then I see a USB spot but no place for the opposite side of the RCA cables, help Plz? thanks! :)
