I took the video footage that Mari took during this year's Badwater Ultramarathon and made this little video.

It covers the start of the race, some of the middle, and the end.

Jorge lead the race until about the 100 mile mark.

Hi Ted, technical question. I noticed how high of a kick Jorge has, and other ultras such as yourself. Can I hope to have such a strong gait when my calves have strengthened? I've just started with my Vibrams, and the new stride is not as natural as I'd thought it would be. I'm still heel striking occasionally. Jorge makes the mid foot landing look really easy.

@sam24jeff I'm not sure if this is too late but the secret to "the kick" or "the butt kick" is very bent knees
