In Beijing, it is essential to keep all the sand and dust from one's face during dust storms like in Beijing. But in Hong Kong, a lot of people can catch colds from other people, be it on the MTR, on the street, etc. Asian people are very health conscious, from my experience. I was in Taiwan, too. I lived there for two years.

Yeah, they are singing in Chinese. My girlfriend, who is Chinese and who was travelling with me, told me so herself.

Mate, the first part's Indo, the latter part (starting from around 17 secs) is Mandarin Chinese, as far as I can tell.
