zoom uses stamina, and time slow affects your draw speed, so it's best to pop out of zoom when drawing your arrow between shots.

you should do more side quests that when you get to the main quest, you could fast travels to places

it would really be in your best interest to buy a horse it will allow you to get where you need to go a lot faster, your allies will keep up, and your horse can attack things if its in danger

hey stephen i dont know if anyone told u but when u were up against that jesus troll when u switch to firebolt u were doin some good damage and if u handnt switched back to flames u would have actually killed him.

At 15:00 i believe that odd "sparkly" noise you heard is the sound that Nirnroot makes when you are close to it. I imagine you were familiar with Oblivion so you know what Nirnroot is/was/does/can do and will make an effort to collect some. In case you dont know, don't try to eat them. They're quite rare and ALL of the effects are negative. Namely things like damage health, damage magika, damage stamina, etc.

Also, Giants generally are friendly unless you attack them, or their roaming Mammoth herds. Think of the giants as travellers in the wilderness travelling with a couple cows. Then imagine it 20 times larger and you have giants with mammoths :P

Hey Stephen, I'm thinking of doing quick little Skyrim lets do a dungeon videos, I have a PVR, but I was just wondering how you set up for your LPs on Xbox I know there are tons of videos on how but maybe you have a different way of doing it? @TheJacob213 Ah, okay! Well, while I'm recording the game footage I also have Soundbooth open (a free alternative would be Audacity). I use a headset with the output attached to the headphone jack of the television and the mic attached to the mic jack of my computer. That way I can hear the game without it interfering with my mic. When I'm done I just put the recorded audio with the video and export it.

Hold onto Salt Piles rather than eat them, also keep a hold of common food items, such as carrots, potatos, etc. Then, next time you go to a town, you can combine the salt and various vegetables to make things like soups that make good sources of Health in the early game, rather than drain all of your potions.

@stephenplays Oh i forgot to mention the most important part of the cooking foods xD you need to find cooking pots inside of houses and such. They're usually a pot on a large spit across open fires. They arent terribly hard to notice, but just thought i'd tack that on since i forgot to mention that xD

Yeah those giants can one shot you with their clubs if your not careful. Btw if you want a very useful helper then you should go to the college of winterhold and help out a guy called Onmond. @MrShadowTheDark Talk to Sven in Riverwood, he'll give you a fake letter to give to Camilla. Instead of giving her the letter, tell her Sven wrote it, and Faendal will be in your debt, and you can have him as your follower. He's also wandering around Riverwood.

I went back to the tomb of jurgen windcaller to get the word in there that i missed being as i was in there and it didnt say completed decided to go through to the end again and if you click on the actual tomb where the horn was you get a free dragon soul. stephen if you wanna do it do it off screen because the place is empty so would make for a boring vid but let people know.

Stephen I tell you right now do not ever attack either a mammoth or a giant. I tried to and all of the mammoths and giants came after me and killed me. I sat here watching that part just saying, "No don't go over there. Don't attack them."

@chilly6501 well it depends what level you are. Im guessing if you use a really good bow and arrow set up you could kill it. :)

stephen, (or someone else who knows) in skyrim (for compter) for some reason i can't bring up the favorites menu... any ideas on what is wrong? or they just took it out of the game?

@darkjak9001 There is a favorites menu (I think it's "q"), but you need to set items to your favorites first. You can also use the number keys by hovering over an item and pressing a button (1-9) to quick-key it.

As I said before, there will be a tomb called Valunruud or something like that north-east of your location. I highly suggest you head there before going back to hand in the quest.

Do you know there is a way to level up your smithing by 20-30 and your level by 5-10? All you need is leather and leather strips and constantly make leather bracers. Sure, it's not a good way to make money, but it helps level your smithing so you can later make better armor/weapons.

@Bennyino You hold the action button. On xbox 360 it's "A", I assume on the PS3 it'd be cross, or "X". Instead of tapping it to take an item, hold it and you'll pick it up.

For Smithing and Enchanting, you level up depending on how much Smithing and Enchanting you do, not by how good the things you Smith/Enchant actually are. Therefore, this makes it really easy to level them up. Get leather, make hide bracers, and then enchant them using Petty Soul Gems. Then you can sell the hide bracers off to merchants and even make a profit. :3

stephen, about smithing, If you wanna get your smithing up, get a TON of iron ingots and leather and just keep makig iron daggers. I did this and I'm at Daedric.
