It just inverts the song, it doesn't remove the lyrics.

It makes the singer sound like they're singing background, and if there are background singers they sound like they are actually singing.

Basically, it's just turning the song around. Hence the invert button you use to do it.

THE REASON WHY IS DOES NOT WORK ON A MAJORITY OF SONGS IS BECAUSE THE VOCALS ARE NOT CENTER PANNED. It will only work on center panned vocal songs. It works %100 fine with Still alive from portal. Welcome to the jungle works, you can still hear some of the vocals but it depends. Please, copy and paste this into other lyric removal tutorials using audacity.

sometimes you dont, sometimes you do, it differs on the song, and this doesn't work for most songs.

its just not working ive tried it a few times. sometimes the voice is still cleary audible and other times its sounds like the track is muted. The song is Grown Up Christmas List by Kelly Clarkson. if you could fix it that would be awsome and the best help ever.

What is the problem? The song? or only one bar instead of 2 showing. If the song is not working I've noticed it does not work with all songs. If the song is only appearing in one bar this means it is set to "mono" instead of "sterio" like a song should be. This can be fixed be downloading the song from annother location or by using the program DB Power Amp to fix it

If it is hard to understand me, please follow the following written tutorial:

1. Open a song of your choice

2. Click the drop down arrow and click Split Stereo Track

3. Click the bottem sound file, go to Effect > Invert.

4. Now go to the drop down arrow key on the top sound file and click Mono, then do the same for the bottem sound file.

5. It should work!

(It may not work with some songs such as rap or techno songs I have noticed)

Yea dude its ur songs problem i tryed it with a diff song and it works properly ur song is corrupted and does not work with audicity.
