I think arthur did a very good job on this one. No offense but some of you might be comparing his style of singing by the way Rob Thomas sang the song, both versions are great. It's just that Rob's version was more on the rock side while Arthur's rendition falls on the ballad side. More power to TKM.

it is may be true that everything happens for a reason. kung wala pa ga bulag c Karylle og c Dingdong, dili unta xa mu balhin og lain nga network, kung wala pa xa nibalhin, she might have not got into TKM. ABS-CBN brings out the best in Karylle! :)))
both artists had very good voices.. unfortunately art doesn't really hit the right notes.. but i commend the effort... karylle's voice has dominated even if she should be singing the second notes...

I think Art Acuna is at the edge of his range. That's usually the problem when you have to make a duet out of a song designed for a single person: Usually one of the genders has to match the pitch of the other. His pitch isn't off, it's just that because he has to adjust to Karylle's pitch that it sounds a little strained. Still a wonderful performance - not even considering his acting.
i'm not a Filipino but this is one of my best tv program here in Philippines, i don't know why you guy criticize him, basically his voice made me like the song the more. Thumbs up he really made the song sound great. thumbs up for him!!

His pitch isn't off, it's just that because he has to adjust to Karylle's pitch that it sounds a little strained. Still a wonderful performance - not even considering his acting.

i'm not a Filipino but this is one of my best tv program here in Philippines, i don't know why you guy criticize him, basically his voice made me like the song the more. Thumbs up he really made the song sound great. thumbs up for him!!

@AllieTheFilipina I have to agree with @eyestrained07, at some parts the notes are all over the place. And he sounds so ... trying hard? He pushes the acting too far that he forgot all abot the song. And when he & karylle are singing at the same time, it sounds so wrong.

maybe Art isn't a Rob Thomas but his emotions were clearly shown in the song if you know his character's background.

@eyestrained07 Do you even know what pitch is? He is sticking to the pitch. That's his style of singing and if you've ever seen a bajillion musicals, you'd notice that most guys actually sing like him. I mean sing in his style.

The guy can act, but clearly, singing is not his strength. One can have a raspy quality of tone while hitting the notes without straining.
