I believe if not soon, that in the future, if the government doesnt get their shit straight and stop screwing us, I think we the people are going to go after them and take over.

And people are ripping on Obama, it wasnt just him, it was Bush too. That imbred had NO clue what so ever what he was doing. The last good president we had was Bill Clinton, reguardless of what hedid outside of the office, he was excellent in the office. Gas was low, everything was low and stable. Everythings whack.

where he left off and added a few more countries into the fray. Now we

have huge trade imbalances and jobs going to countries overseas. North

South East and West. U.S. companies going where taxes are lower

and labor is cheap. All this equals fewer jobs and companies in the USA

It just took a few years before the sh-- hit the fan.

H.R.2751 was a waste of taxpayer money. Medicare is broke because of the trickle down effects of poor central planning thus causing doctors or overcharge or abandon/refuse to take new patients(I will pm you some info) Our Governments economic and social acts are ruining this country. If you have ever been a health provider for someone older, or have had cancer in your family or a host of other diseases, then you are qualified to comment and will understand What the congressman is saying. I am an insulin diabetic (as are three of my 4 brothers), I have lost one sister to ovarian cancer, my oldest sister has breast cancer for the second tme in in 30 years and my oldest brother has prostate cancer. I took care of my Mother in law for nearly 5 years. Keep government out of it!!

We have had a socialist healthcare since 65', Medicare. I don't understand why we cant extend that to 100% of our citizens. Take them to court for what? You sign a contract with them that allows them to drop you as they see fit and this is a standard contract for all major insurance providers. I didn't call you any names, I simply pointed out that you could be better educated, that you are most likely residing in a southern state or rural area and that your mother could have benefited from better health care while pregnant. As for inbred well it is more than likely.

The point of the matter is that private insurance has driven up the cost for both health care providers and recipients and are making millions off of the backs of the working class who can barely afford to live.

I have been to and lived in the rural south and currently reside in one of the richest cities of America and the story is the same all over. Insurance companies have driven up the price of health care for profit. The only thing the Public option will do is give them some one to compete with and force them to lower prices. If they refuse after showing billion dollar profit margins last year, I hope that they go out of business. They have had a monopoly far to long. What do you do for a living?

Although I think that the private firms deserve to be driven out of business, they wont be. They will still be there and the government will only be offering the people an alternative. Does this guy actually believe that 85% of U.S. citizens are happy with their health care? He's basically implying that insured persons earned their health care and the uninsured lack health care because they have yet to earn it. The HMOs have had four decades to do right by Americans, they haven't started yet and they won't unless forced, by regulation and competition. UK has a higher life expectancy than the US and a lower infant mortality. He should examine survival rates based on income.
