  • it does not have the same swingarm as the daytona hence the diffrence in chain slack

  • c mon moto elle et tres tres magnifique jadoure

  • I'm selling my Gladius and I really want a Street Triple. But I'm not sure about the reliability. Can anyone share some opinions? Thanks a lot.

  • @odracirseraoseia1999 I've got one for the last 2 years. Never had any problems with it. It's an incredible bike to drive. Supurb handling and the acceleration is phenomenal. With this bike it becomes a pleasure to ride through bends and corners. It's ease to keep up with heavier 1000 CC bikes. And of course the looks of the bike. Hope I informed you enough.

  • You call -THAT- a review??

  • MOTORCYCLE USA IS A BUNCH FLAT BILLERS! DOUCHE BAGS

  • Song is "Ya Dig" by Stack Bundles

  • Nice bike. The only thing I`m wondering is how is it to carry a passenger on it? I know it isn`t what`s it`s designed for but unless it`s darn terrible I`d consider this bike.

  • Recommending this bike to a beginner would be completely irresponsible. WTF? This magazine is basically just a brochure.

  • how much are these? plz

  • @didyormama : us$ 8,500

  • ja tez mam taki :)

  • no to ładnie:)

    tylko gratulować:))

  • the instrumental is fuckin awesome.

  • Front end looks unfinished....

  • The Z750 and the GSR are probably the most interesting of the 4-inlines. The rest .hornet, fazer especialy and the relatively worst new XJ, are on the boring end, compared to Triumph, aprilia, ducati, kawasaki, suzuki

  • 4. Having driven all the bikes mentioned here, i would say from a total personal point of view that the triumph is the best combination of contradicting factors. monster is for sure great and hell hot but i just personaly dont fancy so much the way the whole engine / transmision complex works in ducatis and moto guzzis. The Shiver and the Z750 would be my best next preferences.

  • The best way to choose a bike is to TEST RIDE ....period,

    1. 4-inline are easier bikes for beginners

    2. if you are sensible and thinking straight , if you arent stupid, any modern bike can work safely as a teacher.

    3. reliability leves are more or less the same for everyone these days

  • back ground music please

  • is this better then the yamaha fz6 or ducati monster 696 or 695?

  • It depends why your asking.

  • im thinking about getting a yamaha fz6 s2/n but this looks good aswell. should i broaden my search range?

  • Same here . I am thinking of getting a yamaha fz6n but the street triple is more sexier! . But then i am stuck between choices !!!! . Here is the choice list:

    1)Yamaha FZ6n

    2)Triumph Street Triple

    3)Aprilia Shiver 750

    4)Kawasaki Z750

I need a bike for daily commute & excellent on twisties on road or track . Any recommendations anyone?

  • get a supermoto! ktm duke, ktm smc, yamaha xt and much more! supermotos are the BEST on twisties. and you will kill superbikes on track~!~ there also good for daily commutes hence the weight and manouvrabilaty (holy shit is that even a word?)

  • i got the yamaha and its the BEST thing i ever did. no regrets at all. youd have fun with it during your daily commutes although i havent taken it on a track yet so i dont know how it would behave there. definitely a VERY good bike.

  • I am assuming you got the Yamaha FZ6n?

    right?

  • yeh and i dont regret it. i rode the triumph aswell and that is a good bike aswell but i like the yamaha more as it is more of an all rounder bike.

  • I owned a yamaha Fazer FZ6 S2. I now own a Street Triple. The Fazer is great but when compared to the Striple, there's absolutely NO comparison. The Street Triple is lighter, more agile, faster, more powerful, better torque, far far far more fun and actually seems to be more economical. Oh, then there's the sound. Seriously, if you drive both you would NEVER chose the Fazer of the Striple, ever. Good luck in your choice.

  • @dgw1970 but ugly as hell

  • just get a 2004-2006 honda cbr 600 great first bike if you have self control and long lasting

  • im disapointed in triamph,i thought "at long last were have a sport bike with out the shit chains, guess im getting another buell.

  • Apart from the poor "review" video, i will comment the speakers opinion about 675 starter bike.

  • Ive only ridder 1050 tripple which is a blast and judging by my experience on 600 fazer -which is fast!- id say that street triple will have alot more grunt that the fazer on the lower-mids RPM and that makes it dangerous to non-experienced drivers. Personally i own the Fz1 Fazer 07 and i love it :)

  • For a starter motorcycle with a bit of pre-history on scooters person, id say go for a CB Super Four engine. Thats a 400 with fantastic speed but not outwordly accelarations. You can also learn to ride with newer models like some easy-going transalp or a V-Storm. Bandit 600 aint that fast also, good for newbies and GSXR-F is good looking and not that hot on the powerband too.

  • Take it easy step by step. I suffer from knee injury that cant be fixed due to that error when i was younger. Best of luck to all people and always invest on equipment (leather pants/jacket/boots/gloves and helmet). They save lifes and they keep you intact.

  • Can you get this on backwheel if you have 35hp??

in europe we have to strangle it to that when we are 18 :/

    Anyone know?

  • Forget this vid. just go buy the god damn bike! I have ridden just about everything going, but the STREET is AWESOME!

  • hi i am just getting 1,and im a new rider is this a big mistake???

  • It's not a mistake. It's a great bike to start with

  • Wouldn't say a big mistake, but if you drop it/crash it (which a lot of new riders do) then you'll probably be a lot more upset than if you buy a cheap bike for a year (cheaper insurance, cheaper parts etc etc.) and then buy the Street Triple when you're more confident and experienced.

  • Might be the first big bike I get after moving on from my 125. Always loved this.

  • yeah i'm thinking about that too..

    Ducati Monster 600...

    Or perhaps a custom ??

    Or a Yamaha R6 :/

  • I'm getting up with fucking Motocycle USA 'reviews' they're absolute shite. These ARN'T reviews, there merely a featurette of what the bike has to offer, it gives you no personal opinions of any editor of the show, no cons or bad points about it. It's just straight up facts about what the bikes egornomics are and what kind of engine it has. Pathetic, really pathetic.

  • Agreed. The brochure gives the specs in a more complete manner and the pictures are better... might as well just get that instead of these "reviews".

  • Well I partially agree with you xvorthor. This particular review is not informative. However, I just watch comparos of the gsxr 750/848, and crf 230/xt250, and I thought they were actually pretty decent.

  • they just dont wanna piss the manufacture off so they dont get to play with their toys anymore just like the cooks on food network never say oh shit this food tastes like crap

  • thats a punk bike

  • is that true that you have to wait couple of months for street triple when you order ? :( here in usa ? ok what about insurance guys ? I hope its not more than 1.500 a year.

  • Bitchin nice bike

  • Great Bike!!

You can have it as a first bike only if you got brains, personally i dont feel like paying 5k for a 250cc then after 6months wanting something better

  • You don't know shit about bikes. The 250r costs 3500 MSRP. Not 5000, and I know people that have ridden the 250 for years and continue to ride it cause they love it. And why not start on a 250? They have the best resale value of any bike, everybody loves them, and they are great for beginners.

  • ninja are 4200 odo in AZ, just get a used 2004-2006 honda cbr600, great bike for new riders and easy to maintain

remember bikes don't kill people, bad riders do

  • You don't know what you are talking about...you just suggest a supersport motorcycle (a bike that will do 0-60 in 3 seconds) to someone who has never ridden in their life? Go back to school and get educated buddy...

  • Theres this funny thing about motorcycles it is that if you don't pull back the throttle all the way it goes slower.

  • There is this funny thing about people who have never ridden motorcycles before, that they tend to not know how to properly pull back the throttle. You don't have to floor this kind of bike to get serious torque.....

  • Properly pull back a throttle? YOU START OUT SLOW!!!! ARE YOU F*CKING RETARDED!! YOU PULL THE THROTTLE BACK SLOWLY!! YOU LET THE CLUTH OUT SLOWLY!! YOU PRACTICE IN PARKING LOTS!! TORQUE DOESN"T MAKE THE DUMB DECISION TO ULEASH ITSELF!! EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!

  • I have been riding for 4.5 years buddy, I know how to ride a motorcycle. Are you fucking retarded? How the fuck is a beginner supposed to know how much gas too much gas is, when to or not to go full throttle, and how far he can lean? You must be a dumb mother fucker...what you are telling me is you can teach a baby to run without ever learning to walk....go back to college and get a degree...

  • I have a decade of riding experience over you and a BSN from Penn State and an MSN from UF. One, your analogy is fallacious. Two, like I just said you learn by starting slow but considering how hard it is for you to understand such a simple concept; I now understand why someone would have to give you a tiny underpowered bike to keep you from killing yourself. I bet you still live with your parents.

  • If you have a decade riding experience over me...you of all people should know that a street triple is not the right bike to start out on. Yes, I do live with my parents now cause I am getting my degree at U of H in engineering next year...

  • I agree with what you're saying Ulysses (partly) however your logic is flawed in that an inexperienced rider is bound to overcook it and get into trouble, assuming they aren't caught out by the throttle response of supersports bikes in the first place.

  • yeah dude this bike has like 110 hp if you want to start out on that you'd have to be crazy. to go from car acceleration to that acceleration right after you get your license is not such a good idea.

  • hmmmm... this street triple IS my first bike and i`ve got no problems with the power or acceleration. it dosen`t matter how much hp you got, you can also crash with a 250cc or even a 125cc!

    greetz

  • i agree :).

just be carefull and here u go, nice bike

  • i plan on getting a gixxer 600 or r6 for starter streetbike,and im also a yz250 rider.please tell me wat u think

  • Street riding is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than dirt bike riding, especially when turning/counter steering. I highly advise you do not get the GSXR.

  • yea i know dirtbikes are toys compare to motorcycles but i need a streetbike.

  • The safest way you can go is with the Ninja 250r.

  • a 250r way do every say that i have a yz250 same cc?!

  • A zx6r is faster than a Ninja 650r, and the 650r has 50cc more. CC does not make speed...design does. A Yamaha V-STAR 600 will beat a 1800cc Suzuki. And I believe your yz250 is a 2 stroke motorcycle...the Ninja 250r is a 4 stroke. The 250 goes way faster than your yz250

  • how its a 2 stoke yz250 a 250 ninja can beat it how?

  • The Ninja 250 is a 4 stroke, meaning it will have a higher top speed. The yz250 its quick from 1-30 mph. It is not meant to go at higher speeds for long periods of travel. One important not is that a Ninja 250r has a lot more compression in the engine than the yz 250...and that is where speed comes in. Dirt bikes are built to move in quick bursts of speed. Street bikes build momentum. They are almost 2 completely different vehicles for 2 completely different uses.

  • wat 1-30mph a yz250 can go up to 80.

  • Yes it can go up that far, but the Ninja 250r goes to 105 easily. Now stop asking all these questions. The final word is that the Ninja 250 is faster than the yz250. Look it up on google.

  • ok ninja 250 it is thxs 4 your help ride safe.

  • No problem brother. I just don't want other people making the same mistake that I did. I bought a zx6r as my first bike, but it was so fast that the ride became unenjoyable. I sold it, then bought a Ninja 250. After a year of riding it...I moved up to a CBR600RR, and am loving it so much because I don't let the bike control me...I control it ;)

  • nuff said ride safe.

  • can yz450 beat a ninja 250?

  • Does it matter? A ninja 250 (of any year) is a superb first streetbike, regardless of how much dirt you've ridden through. I've been riding a 250r for about 2 months (my first streetbike ever) and I'm dragging knees already. I DOUBT I could do that on a 600/750+

  • Dude what are you talking about !? You can easily do that on a 600, 675, or 750. And btw, bragging about "dragging knees" just makes you sound like an idiot. No one is going to think that you are pro because you can put your knee on the ground. Woo-hoo, anyone can do that.

  • ebenın amı gıbı

  • i cant decide if i should get a ducati 969 or that, the Street s 675

  • Ask your wallet,,hahaha

  • i ment to say 696

  • sick bike- i want it- i hav a gsxr-ha

  • too bad you have to wait 4 to 8 months after you order one. The waiting list is rediculous to get one of these

  • Very nice bike, been test driving it myself and i think its one of best (or even the best ) middleclass nakedbikes there is on the marked at the moment. Competetive price aswell ;)

Too bad the presentation in this vid lacked enthousiasm and was plain boring, which cant be said of a bike like the street triple

  • Nice.

  • Man...that just screams sexy!

  • 1050 speed triple and daytona 675 had a love child? Strange way to put it, wouldn't want to be the muffler on that guy's bike...

  • Its a work of art and i cant wait till im old enough to have one.

  • that was a sweet bike, but the music at the end was tight as fuck, who made it?

  • My R6 did!

  • I'd personally like to know as well.

  • Gorgeous. I'd buy one to complement my Monster S2R. European bikes FTW.

  • Yeah now here a Bike!!! not that carp rr BS

  • nice bike. when are you guys going to review the KTM dusoduro 790? also the suzuki drz400sm. I love your reviews, keep up the great work.

  • That's not a KTM, and it's not spelled dusoduro.

  • damn thats a nice bike.

  • that helps thanks ShkZ04

money is a problem for me. i cant afford the triumph. its around $8300 while the ninja is only $3500. insurance is a problem to because its the law u have to have it in Pennsylvania. kawasaki say the 250 is cheap to insure so it should be good for me.

watched ur vids ur a good rider

  • would u recomend this bike to someone who has never ridden? im 17 and have ridden atv for 12 years, with clutch for 5. i want a street bike but have not ridden a two wheeler only a dirt bike a few times. i was looking at the 08 ninja 250. what do u think???

  • i THINK yes...just you know you read the manual and you know the basic and advance maintaince for the bike...

and you know how to ride on 2wheels and having a proper training before you hit the roads

getting a lower displacement makes you want to have a higher engine displacement...because of the acelaration and top speed...

  • cool dude thanks for the advice

  • I wouldn't recommend it. You shouldn't jump in deep end and get a quite large bike, you should work your way up from around a 250.

    that's what I recommend

  • I think the Kawasaki Ninja 250 is a good choice, Mike. It's a great plaform for the beginning rider, it's relatively inexpensive and can be insured fairly easily. Thanks for the post and compliment.

  • i would recommend a used ninja 500 over a new 250, it will keep you interested longer and be less fussy if you need to hit the highway while still being about the same price and an easy and fun bike to learn on. Also i would recommend taking the MSF course just to help you get familiar with riding before you get on the road with your own bike and make sure you buy a bike that you can also afford to buy gear with, All The Gear All The Time (ATGATT) because concrete always wins.

  • Well said. That advice goes for anyone looking to start out. For my two cents: don't learn on a brand new bike.

  • Learn at a MSF class. Not only would you learn something that might save your life, but may lower your insurance.

  • Yes, i think a cheap 500 would be your best bet. I wanted a 250 for my first bike, but we found a very nice example of a suzuki rf600 for $2000, which is super cheap on insurance and a blast to ride. My friend also just got into motorcycles, and he jumped on a Ninja 250 when he found a good deal on one, problem is, after a month, he still loves to ride, but wants something bigger SO bad. But do what you want, just my two cents.
