I buy one. Once out of carton and plug copter flys off into sun and it blind me then I cant find copter. Can copter have horn so toot to find? I wanna attack nextdoor cat sometime can copter land on movin cat? Problem is when copter spin I get dizzy and fell over the place ha ha :(

@slovakiboi find a smooth surface, like a garage floor or something else; the best is a room with a lot of space. assure there is NO WIND at all.
Give her a little power just to hover on some inches off the ground but no more; if she spins, act the trim knob and check if she stops to spin. Probably you have to try some times. If she stop spins you can afford a little bit higher.
BUT, after all, you have to fly with NO WIND; even a small breeze makes her uncontrollable; these are indoor helys

I just received mine but there´s a strange problem with it.Whe I start to move UP/Down Control it does not respond precisely and start to rotate extremelly fast the engine and the helicopter goes up with any other control and suddenly stops and fall. I can´t control the rotation in any other velocity. Just in top speed. My helicopter stops in the hi wall. What can be wrong with it? I´m using Sony Rechargeble battery on remote control
rechargeable batteries are just fine,, i think ur remote could be broken, or someone else in your area uses the same frequense for something else. you can try to fly somewhere else.
and rotating will always be a little there when u are flying, try the buttons, if they don't work something is wrong with your heli or remote.
remotes never really are broken, so i think that if you fly somewhere else and it doesn't work, then u should go to the shop u bought it or contact syma.
check the connection between the upper rotor plate and its axle; check that the junction plastic/metal it's not going broken... I had that problem and the hely started to be uncontrollable...
@mdani76 Mine has the same flight problem. I think the upper plate has detached from the axle. I tried to put it back in place but it didn't stay. Going to try to fix it again before I buy new parts online.

Guys, I had a serious stability problem with this hely last time. I disassembled the rotors and I discovered that the joint between the upper bladeholder and the axis was partially broken.
I have a new axis now but before using the new one I'll make an experiment with the old axis connection fixed with glue and a metal belt... I think that this is the most fragile point of this hely because it absorb a lot of force when you start the rotor; stay tuned for experiments flights and videos...
Thank you! Probably it's not trimmed the first time. Find a place with no wind and smooth surface, gently push the left lever; try not to go up and check if there is some tendency to rotate.
If it goes up in the air and rotate don't panic, try to keep it hovering with very small inputs and use your right hand to VERY GENTLY move the trim to stop the rotation.
You can fly outdoor without ballast but even a small breeze makes it fly where you don't want!

It helps somehow... the ballast is a simple AA battery (about 40 grams); with the ballast the shark flies a little bit forward with no input, stays in hovering with back input, and flies forward with a little bit of speed with forward input. It depends on the ballast position, you can't fly backward but AT LEAST you can counteract some breeze outside!
I think we can't do better, the shark is too much stable..
i had this same, it was flying backwards with balllast and it was strange to fly with balast because I couldn't fly how I wanted :D I will upload my vid in next few days :D

my s006 when it tries to take off it starts spinning in the air, even when not pressing any buttons it spins around in the air, what is wrong?

umm i cant any range with mine.
yes my antenae is extended fully lol.
after it goes past 1.5 meters away from me it doesnt respond any ideas?

i get around 10minutes from mine, but remember batteries do degrade over time the more you charge them. you can get new batts on ebay for about £5

uhm... my friend I think you have a defective unit. Ask your seller to check or change it... sorry
Sometimes happens some overpower when you have a full charged battery but the hely is still controllable and the problems goes away in few seconds.
Just to be sure, try other batteries and check that transmitter antenna is tight
