@blackashsunspot Do you honestly think that they were playing recordings for this HUGE crowd that can obviously tell if your sitting in the front row seats? This is THE LUNA SEA. What would any of the members gain from doing that? They've been professional musicians for 20+ more years. They're extremely talented & definitely not lazy.

My guess is that it's just this video is out of sync by a little.

I know I sound a bit mean & defensive, but it's frustrating seeing some of these comments. :(

@blackashsunspot because they're not notes, is something you can do, you play a note and quickly take of your finger of the fret it kinda "reverbs" then you can see how he walks and the bass kinda bounce on him, if you hit the back of the bass it sounds like that, i play bass and sometimes i hit the back of it with mi thighs or legs and it sounds like that

@Nugtroen Yoshiki has zero technique, and, as a drummer, I can honestly say I prefer shinya. His rolls are faster than Yoshiki's too. And Yoshiki always sits behind his drumset crooked like an old lady. All basic technical mistakes. He is a decent drummer for his kind of music, but he's still more of a composer than a performer. Just my opinion.

No, this is not a technical demonstration. It's just showing J jamming with Shinya. Of course they didn't invent the bass/drum jam, but they do it well.

J is a fantastic rock bass player. For those of you who keep claiming that you can do better, get off your computer and write an awesome hard rock song with a sick bass line like "Rosier" or "G" and then post it up on Youtube. J knows how to write an awesome song and then drive it up with his bass.

Actualy, the GazettE sort of copied the idea of Ride with the ROCKERS from LUNA SEA. LUNA SEA was VERY influential to modern Japanese rock bands. A lot of bands do a "bass solo" now.
