No wakes from the boats since it's forbidden and they go at a max speed of 4 mph! The locks rise as fast as you open the flood gates. Sometimes my 'crew' got too enthusiastic! I learned to use the throttle to hold position rather than 'tying up'. You really don't tie up because of the rise and fall of the boat. Just slip line over
