It is a shame. most of Jem's best songs came early in the series. MOSTLY it is because the early Jem songs were... well... Songs.

While later ones were mostly "Sing what is happening" and "Lets turn a moral into a song". Heck there is a span of 6 episodes where Jem sings 6 of her worst songs.

The Misfits were sort of the opposite. Their songs got better as the series progressed (mostly). 3-4 of their best happen over halfway through the series.

So true. I'm watching Glitter and Gold, and the titular song is pretty much the only good Holograms song that there's been in the entire second half of the first season. Ughhhh  Their songs are so literal.

The Misfits are getting better. It's just at an annoying point now where they're both somewhat mediocre.

Wacthing these videos made me cry ... My childhood loss trapped in fading memories. my hubby thinks I'm crazy but watching Jem made me want to do something with my life it was more than housework and taking care of kids we (women) never saw that as kids it was a really great cartoon that I wish would have lasted longer
