Example: there’s a dreadful, drug & alcohol-fuelled family on our road & their son went to Iraq as a private security contractor. He earns a fortune out there- whenever he comes home he always has a sweet new ride & hot 19YO model girlfriend.
In contrast, two close friends of mine were wonderful parents & their daughter ended up being raped a knifepoint, then getting depressed & committing suicide.

The best & most modern way to discipline a young child is to film them as you tell them off and then upload the video of them to YouTube to show everyone what they've done wrong so they learn their lesson and can be reminded of it again and again. This works a treat with my kids:
