At least someone (McCain) is taking his own time to listen to what opposers have to say. All other candidates delete any comments that make them look bad.
alternative energy pointless if car companies insist on making cars so inefficient. US car companies concentrate on appearance instead of aerodynamics when making cars and increase car weight instead of using the lighter composite materials that are available. Loremo AG at Geneva auto show 157 mpg at starting price 13000.Point being car companies know how to make better cars they simply refuse to. whether or not global warming exists many of the technologies can save people lots of money.
you do realize that the democrats have a much more dissapointing record when it comes to amnesty. And also that mccain and guiliani are the best candidates to win the national election. And guiliani isnt really the best guy to support if u are against illegal immigration. The fact of the matter is there are no candidates out there that are against illegal immigration that can win the nomination or the election, so its better to choose the one that lesser of two evils.
nader, I don't know if you are a Ralph Nader supporter, but my main issue is Iraq. I'm voting Democrat because I want this war to end. I'm just pointing out that Republicans will no longer trust John McCain because he tried to shove the amnesty bill down their throats.
so did nearly all democrats, u cant pin this on john mccain. And if a democratic president is in power, this bill will easily pass and that is the plan of the democratic congress. most of the dems who voted against this bill in the senate wants to wait for the democratic president and then make that president look good by passing the amnesty bill rather than president bush.
National ID card, Suspension of Habus Copas, Walls and fences, 2 mill. in jail (highest on planet) 60 mil. on probation, "Preemptive war", military bases in 135 different country's, 1/2 your working life..you work for your government's, both parents must work instead of one, ...... Starting to sound familiar???

John, for the last two years every week end in my Ohio town People ages 55-75 gather down town carrying signs like "Leave Iraq to Iraq",even a "Hawk" like myself believes there was no need to invade Iraq. Iraq had no WMD, was not a US threat, even Bush's corretly choose not to occupy. Our invasion of Iraq has resulted in more Islamic terrorist. Republican's now want to start a war with Iran. Republicans want to spent $500 billion annual on the military. Sorry JOHN but IRAQ is the ISSUE.
Drudgereport has it front & center: Sen. McCain's recent blow up vs. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) resembles that of Howard Dean's. I think McCain's run is over because of it. Seems like a good fella too but you can't make mistakes like that one in this day and age. not if Matt Drudge has anything to do with it.
Just an opinion of a foreigner, from an oil producer country: you should think not only in how produce energy no dependant from oil, but in reduce consumption or get more efficience from the oil burned. In other words, you (saddly) have to turn the "american way of life" a little bit. Regards.
Mr McCaine, as you well know we get most of our energy from Canada. We arent all that far from being independant of ME oil if we can just find a president who is willing to take that bold step. So far, all presidents "claim" they will get us off of ME oil, but frankly, all have failed miserably and should be ashamed of themself. No true American would allow us to be dependant on a country like Saudi Arabia for energy.

If McCain knows how to lead on it, why isn't it solved? Because he doesn't. At best he knows how to lead on some half steps.

My #1 issue is Iraq. My #2 issue is immigration. A Democratic President will get us out of Iraq. All other issues are less important to me.
