HOWEVER, what amazes me is that so many women were blindsided by, what seems to me, to be such OBVIOUS things! That 2-way interaction of "getting to know each other" seems like one of the basics and its lack would be one of the biggest "SIGNS" there could be that the guy (or gal) is only in it for an ulterior motive (fellas, this holds with women just out for a free meal or the infamous golddigger).
Too often people (women esp.) just ASSUME what the other feels.
Sigh. It's true that there are many guys out there who deserve an Academy award for the ways they purposely deceive women. I agree that if a guy isn't showing genuine interest in a woman's life, he may have a hidden agenda. As always, great insights Tina!
