@takineko I got one from itunes.. the albarn studio version though, not original ost. Also if you go to "The Vinyl Factory" online, you can get a sweet lp for 250 pounds.. or a slightly less sweet one for 65 pounds.

@Recedebo I totally agree with you. The music can only do so much, but the visuals define most of it (in my opinion). I honestly would not have been interested in Monkey if not for the amazing pictures.

Damon Albarn did a great job in the music for the opera, i bougth the album and its awesome, and the unique artistic consept of Jamie Hewlett (creator of gorillaz band and tank girl comics) its amazing.

@ryanspirit Great observation! I've know Chen Shizheng for many years and can vouch that he's a huge Christopher Walken fan and would be flattered at any comparison. Within a year of arriving in the US, he described a screwed-up family situation he had witnessed as "The father's a con man and his children are suckers."

saw this a few weeks ago in the 02 and my god this was spectacular!!! seriously i was rows away and i was amazed by the whole thing. The bad points where the seats and alot of low flying aeroplanes and i was to close to see the subtitles at some points...

HOWEVER This is nothing to do with the show itself everything was great seriously check it out if you can!!!

Oh and yes it should tour the world agreed everyone else is missing out!

Anyway there my views i give the show 5/5!!

yes the ticket prices were just ASS! But i got some buffet chinese with that money which was a nice way to the experince.

Basicly the higher price you pay just ruins it a lil more like i said already i was to close to see teh subtitle I had to keep turning my head ( and by the looks of things pissed of teh actors) And the seats its self sucked

BUt like i said already the show rocked the 02 blows....
