@awbg23- You do realize that playing the same style of music and playing the same music are not the same things right? "This guy" is a professional musician who has fused rock and electronica in ways largely unseen until then, has become very successful making albums instead of releasing singles, and his band is regarded as one of the premier live acts of today. So I think he knows a whole lot more about it than you. fuck off small-brain.
