  • thx good review, if this lens have f/2.8, half canon lens i be forget... ))

  • @playggrrrr I agree completely!

  • want a filter? go with b+w! they are the best but the can cost up to 200 bucks!

  • may i ask where you purchased your lens hood for your lens. i've been wanting to look for one but don't know where to get it. Thnx.

  • @series25a Sorry for the late reply. Someone had flagged your message as spam O_o The lens hood was included with the lens, which only happens with these 'L' lenses. Canon do not supply hoods with lenses of standard or lower quality, but there are quite a few eBay sellers who can supply quite cheap Canon-compatible hoods that will do the trick.

  • How much was this lens?

  • @DAA0111 Depending on where you get it, it can run anywhere from $950 - $1300. B&H are selling for $1149. Chinese dealers will sell for as low as $950, but there may be extra cost from import duties and taxes.

  • @GOPhotoVideo

Is there any difference with a L lens and a you know like a kit lens that has it up to 135mm and this L lens just has 105mm?

  • @DAA0111 L-series lenses are invariably of much higher quality, both in build quality and optics. Having used an L-lens, I would never consider a kit lens again :)

  • @GOPhotoVideo Haha thank you I appreciate your FAST comments :)

    Im for sure getting a L-lens :)

  • @DAA0111 I know I'm a little late.. But L lenses have a lot more benefits. Especially the single focal length lenses (primes).
