Since Hovind's seminar videos are not copyrighted, and that the criticizing videos were safe under "fair use", that meant the CSE were actually guilty of committing a number of felonies. After this song was produced, the CSE backed down.

Well, peer review seems to have allowed the perpetuation of the hoax of man made global warming - in spite of the fact that historical Viking Sagas clearly indicate that the world of 1000 years ago was warmer than today. (The Greenland Fjords were free of ice, and they were able to settle in Greenland for hundreds of years before being froze out.) Oh - and by the way - my guess is my science credentials excede yours. This song was in response to a situation where certain people of faith infringed on the rights of people who do not have faith. This happens more than you know, and out of this compounded frustration came this situationally specific song. I would love to just "let the believers talk", but they, and usually Christians here in the USA, don't particularly feel that atheists should have rights, not all christians, but a good many. It's time we stopped lying down, and started taking action. :)

Well, peer review seems to have allowed the perpetuation of the hoax of man made global warming - in spite of the fact that historical Viking Sagas clearly indicate that the world of 1000 years ago was warmer than today. (The Greenland Fjords were free of ice, and they were able to settle in Greenland for hundreds of years before being froze out.) Oh - and by the way - my guess is my science credentials excede yours. Just guessing.

This song was in response to a situation where certain people of faith infringed on the rights of people who do not have faith. This happens more than you know, and out of this compounded frustration came this situationally specific song. I would love to just "let the believers talk", but they, and usually Christians here in the USA, don't particularly feel that atheists should have rights, not all christians, but a good many. It's time we stopped lying down, and started taking action. :)

If somebody repeats the lyrics to a song you didn't copyright, or copies your song, you can't penalize them for "breaking copyright laws" when you didn't copyright the song until years after they did so.
Also, regardless, the DMCA was used BEFORE the "copyright".
These videos were sans copyright, still contain no copyright labels within them.

I really liked your song and the message, but can't help but think that Hovind and his people in the CSE would like any publicity good or bad, and this and other threatening videos may be feeding right into their cause. "Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience."
