Hi matt.just to say your amazing at your sound creations you truly are very talented & from what I've read from other peoples comments I'm not alone what I say?I also find your manner at the way you reply back to people very professional & shows that you my friend are not big headed & nice to see how much you appreciate peoples comments?anyway well done & keep up your excellent work take care.
@RJADVids thanks for your comment, i hate to admit it but the jp4 part i actually forgot about till the last minute, i had to play it in manually on an acoustic guitar sample,
"HAAAAAAH! And the crowd goes wild!" At least I am, along with the many others commenting on this wonderful arrangement of music you put together written by Gary Numan. Keep it up Matt! Jessin' it up as always!
P.S. You should really think about getting a Gary Numan cover band together of just yourself. You make a great one man band with synthesizers alone. Those instruments can imitate any sound you want so technically, you could be a one man band. =D
Lovely cover. Love how the simple melodic piano moves gently and gradually into the synth sound. I have asked friends "do you know who this is?" It'sonly when they hear the heavier synth that they hazard a guess. Its interesting to listen to this and then listen to the full-blown single. Well done!
this is very, very good. you have revealed a simple beauty to the track and you perform it with subtlety, care and repect to the original. you are very talented.
just listened to me i disconnect from you on your myspace page....had to play it twice just to check that it was as good as i thought it was......best you pat yourself on the back young fella and take a bow.......brilliant job....i will prob play it to death now....wish i had a talent like that.
realy enjoyed this......great work......you must have been well chuffed with yourself when you finished and played it back......its just so relaxing....
thanks ..yes ,the Vox Humana i programmed myself, its roland jv80.
the jp4 (funky clav i think), i forgot till the last minute so i played it in using the jv80 acoustic guitar sample , which is why its so lo in the mix. thanks for taking the time to comment. matt,
Numanausis right, it could very well be an acoustic version from 1980 with Denis Haines et all at the helm!
Is the Vox Humana sound from the JV80? If so, remarkable stab at reproducing it, closest synth recreation I've heard bar Jori's sample. Also, the reproduction of the arpeggiating JP4 from the original is very close..
Wow wow wow!!! Awesome . I love numans music , this is fantastic...
